Lister Motor Company announced today the pricing and specs of the Road-Going Lister Knobbly, the first original specification continuation car to be fully eligible for IVA type approval. The retro-modern sports car will be available from June 2018 with two different engines and price tags that will cause the stoutest of men to tremble.

Okay, let’s cut to the chase. The road-legal Lister Knobbly with a 4.2-litre 6-Cylinder engine will be priced at £225,000, while the one with 3.8-litre with Dry Sump will be priced at £295,000. That means you have to categorize the Knobbly as a collectible exotica to make sense of its price – since they are only making 10 units – because God knows the performance figures are nothing to write home about. The fastest model accelerates from 0-60mph in just 4.3 seconds and has a top speed of 180 mph. You can get those from a 50 grand sports car these days.
