Renault continues to expand their range of trims and options with new editions boasting lofty, cool-sounding names. After Initiale Paris we know get the Renault Megane AKAJU,a limited edition of the popular hatchback built specifically for France.
Pitched as the most exclusive trim level ever for this model, Renault Megane AKAJU comes with, on the outside elegant 18-inch Grand Tour alloy wheels, lateral AKAJU badging and extra-tinted rear glass. Not unlike their high-end cuisines, the French believe true elegance is in simplicity, which is why they didn’t just go and throw everything they could find in the bin at the AKAJU. The packages includes only a few, exquisite items.
Inside, Renault Megane AKAJU features heated, massaging for front seats, Black and Club Brown leather upholstery and matching brown brushed aluminium door panel trims. Equipment-wise you get premium Bose sound system and colour head-up display, and R-LINK 2 navigation compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay for smartphone replication on the system’s 8.7-inch display. Pricing depends on the engine, with Energy TCe 130 costing €27,600, Energy TCe 130 EDC (dual clutch transmission) €29,200, Energy dCi 110 EDC €31,400, and Energy dCi 130 €31,000. Available options include Easy Parking Pack €500, Adaptive cruise control €300, and Electric opening sunroof €800.
