Bentley Mulsanne Gets Mild Upgrades from Mansory and Startech

A car of Bentley Mulsanne‘s class and prestige does not really need modifications and upgrades, mainly because it’s like getting a Cartier watch and then spray painting the bezel. But for those who aren’t satisfied with the car in standard guise, there are now some mild upgrades available from some big time tuners.

These package are offered by Mansory and Startech, and while visually they are fairly similar – after all, there is only so much you can do to this car’s unique appearance without ruining it – the Mansory one is a much more through job in that it also gets a power upgrade kit and even an interior treatment.

Mansory Bentley Mulsanne comes with carbon fiber front lip and air inlet covers as well as side skirts, a rear spoiler lip, and diffuser insert. These are complemented with a set of 10 x 22″ “M8″ rims wrapped with ultra-high-performance 285/35ZR22 tyres for the front and rear axles. Performance-wise, Mansory Mulsanne gets a boost from 512 hp to 585 hp with 1,100 Nm of torque for a 0-100 km/h sprint time of 5.0 seconds and a top speed of 305 km/h. As for the interior, you can choose brushed aluminium, carbon, burled or high-gloss piano for trims, and special floor mats.

The strictly visual Startech Bentley Mulsanne gets the some sort of cosmetic upgrades with front and rear apron modifications featuring lip spoiler, side skirts, and diffusers, but somehow it looks more serious than Mansory’s car. It is almost good enough for us to ignore the performance and interior upgrades on the former offering. Almost!
