Skoda, full of confidence form wining IRC last year, announced they’ve prepared 10 Fabia Super 2000 to compete in 2011 Monte Carlo rally, which is opening round of the 2011 Intercontinental Rally Challenge Series. These new cars also feature a new livery as you see in these pictures. This year Skoda also appears in WRC.

The new livery they’ve designed for the Fabia Super2000 features a strong shade of green as the company’s identifying color, and has the same green and white theme as before. The front doors will also bear a logo commemorating 110 years of Škoda’s participation in motorsport.

Škoda Motorsport (factory team) will appear with both of its successful crews – last year’s IRC winners Juho Hänninen & Mikko Markkula and runners-up, Jan Kopecký and Petr Starý. Škoda Motorsport’s all-conquering Fabia Super 2000 project has received positive feedback from Škoda importers in many markets. As a result, the Monte Carlo Rally will see some big names driving a Fabia Super 2000, including Škoda UK Motorsport’s new driver Andreas Mikkelsen, the 2008 IRC Drivers’ Champion Nicolas Vouilloz, Freddy Loix (winner of three IRC races in 2010) and Mark Wallenwein of Škoda Auto Germany. A number of other Fabia Super 2000 are going to appear in the colours of private teams, all of whom are planning to fight for the best possible result in Monte Carlo, one of the world’s most challenging rally events.

The Monte Carlo Rally starts on 19 January in the area around Valence, France, and ends with night-time special stages in the mountains near Monte Carlo in the early hours of the morning on 22 January. Drivers can look forward to a total of 13 special stages (337 competition kilometres) and over a thousand kilometres of road sections plus unpredictable weather, as is usual this time of the year.

Feast your eyes on the new generation of Spyker C8 called the Aileron. This beautifully crafted Dutch supercar looks absolutely fantastic, it has less lunacy than the previous C8, wish was like a fat fish in a funny hat!, but the Aileron is more refined and elegant. And the interior is even better. Whoever designed this car has been very very high! It comes from Amsterdam afterall…!

Spyker is not a car really, it’s more of a fashion accessory. So it really doesn’t mater how fast it is or how it goes around a corner. But since bold numbers are good for showing off  to your golf mates, Spyker provides some good figures. Aileron uses an Audi-derived 4.2 liter V8 developing 400 horsepower, it’s rear-wheel-drive and has a six-speed manual gearbox and yes you still get that magnificent exposed gear shaft! Aileron runs on 19-inch 10-spoke Aeroblade designer wheels and has AP-racing Carbon Ceramic braking package.

Dutch supercar maker announced that Spyker D12 peking will go into production next year. The car was first shown as a concept in Paris motorshow 2006. D12 (not Eminem’s crew, the car!) features VW’s W12 engine with 550 horse power and does 0-60 in 5seconds and can reach a top speed of 185mph.

Like the C8, Spyker’s first model by which D12 is based on, this also is more of a fashion accessory than a real car. But unlike C8 which was a crazy super sport, Peking is supposed to be a SUV, which defines new standards in luxury and exclusivity in this class. Like all fashion stuffs D12 is designed not to look pretty, but unique. to be honest it is rather ugly but has an imposing character, It is ostentatious, almost revolting! This is actually Playboy’s SUV!

Spyker D12 peking is priced at almost 300,000 US Dollars, which is a bit ambitious when you review other options at this price.
