Back from the brink of annihilation, British sports car maker TVR has been teasing us for the past few months with an upcoming product that is supposed to put the brand back on the map. The problem is, the teasing campaign is moving along at a snail’s pace.
The rebooted TVR announced further details and specifications of their new sports car, to be launched later this year. The most exciting tidbit is that they will release a Launch Edition model with a carbon fibre chassis designed by the legendary Gordon Murray.

Legendary British sports car maker TVR (named after a bloke called Trevor) is officially back in business, accepting deposit for an all-new model they are all set to launch in 2017. They say it was the “popular demand” that persuaded them to go ahead with the relaunch sooner than originally anticipated.
The TVR legacy dates back to the 1940s, when a teenage boy named Trevor Wilkinson decided to start his own business. Trevcar Motors became the official business name, and the primary purpose was to repair and sell automobiles. The business is based out of Blackpool, a town in England.
