AC Schnitzer, as you know, tunes everything in the BMW/MINI family. Here’s their first go at upgrading the new MINI Coupe.

They provide a rather thorough tuning package for the Coupe, beginning with a couple of visual tweaks such as chrome detailing for front and rear, new graphics and paint jobs.

For the interior AC offers the usual treatment of aluminum pedals and footrests, special handbrake lever, velours floor mats, and a shift knob with digital gear display.

As for the wheels and tires, they recommend the Mi2 BiColor18-inch rims with high performance tyres from Continental and Michelin in size 225/30 R 18 or 215/35 R 18 or optionally in 205/40 R 18. They are complemented by AC’s height-adjustable racing suspension or spring kit which lower the car for a killer look and promise Go-Kart-like handling.

AC Schnitzer will also provide performance upgrade kits for all the engines in the range, but they are still in development. Meanwhile you can improve the performance via AC Schnitzer limited slip differential for the MINI Cooper S Coupé with locking up to 75%, and their sports exhaust system.

A set of high performance brake system with 4-piston fixed caliper brakes (left/right) with slotted discs (left/right) is also available.

AC Schnitzer’s package for the ugly but lovely BMW 1-Series F20 does make a difference in the car’s looks. But don’t expect a miracle.

I mean no matter what you do that face, it still looks like a hideous creature form a bad Sci-Fi movie. It looks a bit sportier with the body kit consisting of front spoiler, side skirts, and a roof spoiler. Tinted rear windows and custom graphics also contribute to this sportiness.

AC offers a wide range of wheels for this car in different designs and 18 and 19inch size. The sport suspension lowers the car by 25mm, making the wheels look cooler.

For the interior you get aluminum accents from AC’s Black Line for the gear knob, handbrake liver, i-Dirve knob and the pedals, plus special floor mats.

As for the performance, the tuner offers a boost for 118d and 120d diesel engines only. The first one gets a bump from 140 to 170 PS and the latter from 184  to 210.

AC Schnitzer revealed its BMW 650i Coupe. And, well, it is basically the same as the 650 convertible revealed at IAA back in September.

This one will gets its public debut at the Essen Motor Show and gets AC’s fab body kit, consisting of a Front spoiler, a chrome grille and chrome strips, rear spoiler and rear skirt insert. They have then wrapped the whole car in protective film.

The interior gets a sports airbag steering wheel, the AC Schnitzer Aluminum cover for the i-Drive System Controller “Black Line” AC Schnitzer and Aluminum pedals and footrest, as well as trunk and floor mats in velours.

As for the engine, and just like the cabrio, they can boost the power from 407 to 540 hp and reduce the acceleration time to 100 km/h to 4.3 seconds. It also comes with 21-inch Type VIII lightweight forged rims, and 8-piston high performance brake system.

After doing an awesome job with the 1M Coupe, AC Schnitzer turns its attention to the new 2012 BMW 1-Series F20.

AC’s engineers have just started working on the new 1er and came up with a nice visual upgrade kit for it. Other improvements including performance upgrades, exhaust systems, suspension solutions, aerodynamic components and accessories for the interior are still in the works and will be announced later.

So what do you get now? Well, for starters there are four different 18 to 19 inch wheels available to choose from, and you also get racing tailpipes, steel pedals, illuminated and shift-display gear knob, aluminium handbrake handle and iDrive cover.

Alongside the 1M Coupe, AC Schnitzer also reveals their ASC6 package for the new BMW 650i Convertible at 2011 IAA.

This magnificent drop-top luxury cabrio gets AC’s power module, which they guarantee for 100,000 km, and that boosts the output from 407 to 540 hp. That huge power means the 6er can now go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds.

AC also increases the stopping power accordingly with an 8-pot high performance brake system for the front. A new suspension spring kit that lowers the car by 25mm enhances the handling.

Styling-wise, the car benefits from front spoiler, chromed front grille and chrome decor strips, rear skirt insert and loading lip protection film, plus new tailpipes for the sport exhaust system.As always there is a wide range of wheels including Type IV BiColor or silver, Type V forged alloy rims in BiColor or Type VIII in BiColor or as forged racing rims in BiColor.

Type VIII forged alloy wheel in BiColor in 21-inch are the latest addition to the list. They weigh just 11.5 kg (9.0J x 21″) or 11.9 kg (10.0J x 21″).

inside the cabin you get trim painted in matt space grey, a sports airbag steering wheel, the AC Schnitzer “Black Line” aluminium cover for the i-Drive system controller, and the AC Schnitzer aluminium foot rests and pedals, together with boot and foot mats in velours.

Another perfect job by AC Schnitzer that turns a good car into an absolutely fantastic machine.

This year at IAA BMW tuner AC Schnitzer will unveil their complete package for the new 1-Series M Coupe.

The car might look all cutesy and cuddly, but under that vented bonnet the turbocharged I6 engine has received a thorough upgrade and 400 hp. It also gets AC Schnitzer twin sports rear silencer with chromed “Racing” tailpipe that let it breath more easily and also sound nicer.

To cope with the added power, AC has fitted the car with a high performance brake system with 6piston caliper at front and 4piston caliper at the rear. It also gets fully adjustable AC Schnitzer racing suspension.

The body kit consist of carbon front spoiler, chromed front grille, carbon rear diffusor, trunk lid spoiler, and AC Schnitzer design elements on the front wings. There is a wide range of 19 and 20-inch wheels to choose from: Type VIII and Type V forged alloy wheels in BiColor, Type VIII and Type IV wheels in BiColor and Type IV in silver.

The interior is garnished with painted centre console and interior trim in “Valencia Orange”, the AC Schnitzer “Black Line” aluminium gear knob and handbrake handle and the “Black Line” aluminium cover for the i-Drive, plus aluminium foot rest and pedal set, and velour foot mats.

AC has left nothing untouched then, a very complete tuning job.

It took them a while, but AC Schnitzer finally released a preview of their kit for the BMW 1M Coupe ahead of official debut at 2011 IAA.

It is a work in progress though, as there’s no engine upgrade program announced yet. But there is a complete set of new suspension components, new brakes and of course, AC wheels.

For the suspense, the lowering kit drops the car between 10 to 20mm, giving it a cooler look and better stability. It’s completed with AC Schnitzer’s usual wheel collection in different size and designs. The other important upgrade here are the new lightweight ventilated brake discs with 6-piston calipers in the front and 4-piston calipers rear.

At the Frankfurt Motor Show AC will show the complete car, which besides the aforementioned upgrades also benefits from a subtle aerodynamic body kit, revised interior and possibly a heavily modded engine.

AC Schnitzer revealed their complete tuning package for the 2011 BMW X3. A package that includes visual and mechanical upgrades.

They’ve tried to improve the styling by using a body kit consisting of front spoiler, the rear roof spoiler and the AC Schnitzer protective film for the rear skirt. They’ve also provided a wide range of rims to choose from. There’s the Type VIII forged racing rims in 22 inch, or Type VII racing rims in BiColor or silver in 22 inch. One-piece rims of Type VI (BiColor), Type VIII (BiColor) and Type IV (BiColor or Silver) are also available in sizes 18, 19 or 20 inch. Forged alloy wheels Type V in 20 inch are the other option. But the car still looks ugly!

For the interior a sport steering wheel (in development), AC Schnitzer aluminium gear knobs in anodized silver/chrome or “Black Line”/chrome, or with digital gear display, and the “Black Line” aluminium cover for the BMW-specific i-Drive system controller, create a nice and fancy place to be in.

AC Schnitzer currently offers sports exhaust made of stainless steel for 2.8i and 3.5i six-cylinder models with chrome tailpipes. But the xDrive20d gets a more thorough upgrade and as a result the power goes up from 184 to 218 HP They are also working on an upgrade program for the X3 xDrive30d.

Tuners are now giving names to their car! We just looked at the Whitestorm, and now check out the MINI Cooper Eagle by AC Schinitzer.

This car is actually developed for track use and the evidence of it is the blistering time it’s set around Hockenheim race track. The Eagle has undergone a heavy engine refinement program ad gets revised turbocharger and intercooler, new ECU software, racing-grade exhausts, limited slip differential, sport clutch, lightweight battery, and racing suspension.

The power output is 260 hp at 5,000 rpm and 340 Nm of torque at 2,950 rpm, which means the car makes 100 km/h in 5.8 seconds and top speed of 250 km/h.

The car also features an aerodynamic kit with a big rear wing, new wing mirror, and carbon fiber doors for lightness. The interior is also littered with carbon fiber parts.The overall weight of the car is now 1049 kg.

All these efforts and the 62,000 euros price tag of the car might seem pointless at first, but it has produced amazing lap times. It went round Hockenheim in 1 minute 13.3 seconds. In comparison, Ferrari California did that in 1 minute 13.5 seconds!

Even the most insane tuners have realized if they want to stay in business, they have to make greener cars. AC Schnitzer for instance has come up with a BMW Z4 that needs 3.8 liters of fuel per 100 km, and emits just 99 g/km Co2.

AC Schnitzer 99d BMW Z4 is powered by a 2.0 liter four-cylinder diesel engine In its standard form it has 163 HP and 380 Nm, but with AC’s treatment it delivers 190 HP and 420 Nm of torque.

That astonishing fuel economy is a result of an extensive weight reduction program AC Schnitzer has applied to shed off 230 Kg (507 lbs). So while it can do 0 to 60 mph in 6.9 seconds and reach a top speed of near as makes no difference 150 mph, it also manages 3.8 liter per 100km with 99.18 grams of CO2.

It’s great, but at 149,000 Euro it does not make any sense at all! I mean the whole point of this car is reduce your costs, but you have to pay Ferrari money for it.

AC Schnitzer will showcase that car at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show along with the ACS5 Sport S. The latter based on the BMW 5 Series is not built for economy, it’s built for fun. It has a modified 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 developing 540 HP and 750 Nm, good for a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration of 4.5 seconds and top speed of 320 km/h! That is more like it.

We haven’t seen too many upgrade packages for the Mini Countryman since its introduction. It must be hard modifying that body. Check out AC Schnitzer’s package for the car, which includes a some stripes and a new set of rims plus interior modifications. They have not announced any performance upgrades yet.

Given the large body of the Countryman AC Schnitzer offers sport rims up to 19-inch. You can have in different designs including AC’s traditional. They do a good job improving the looks of the car and as AC says make the MINI Countryman ideal for every terrain. The interior package consists of items like aluminum pedals and knobs with a digital gear display.

Every year BMW tuner Ac Schnitzer reveals a tuned Police car based on one of the Bavarian company’s productions, as their contribution to VDAT’s TUNE IT! SAFE! initiative. This year it’s the electric Mini which received the Cop Car treatment. The 204-hp MINI E in Police livery sporting AC’s tuning package was presented for the first time at the Essen Motor Show 2010.

The car gets AC Schnitzer’s racing suspension, and the front and rear skirts and bonnet vents, as well as “MI 2″ (7.5J x 18″) alloy wheels and high performance brake system from AC Schnitzer with 4-pot fixed calipers on the front axle.

The “Police Look” is provided by the latest signalling system from Hella on the roof, and the blue paintwork by AC Schnitzer in conjunction with special stickering from Foliatec.

The TUNE IT! SAFE! initiative by the Verband Deutscher Automobil Tuner e.V. (VDAT) supported by the Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Development, shows that the yearning for individualisation can continue to be met in the future.

German tuner AC Schnitzer came up with a typical package for the 2011 BMW 5 Series, the Touring version. It’s really hard to see why you should pay money for a kit that makes your car look uglier than it is, but here we are! Apart from the looks though, AC also offers power upgrade for all diesel engines in the range, which is nice.

Then there’s the brakes where AC offers 8-piston high performance brake system for the front axle, consisting of: 8-pot fixed caliper, (left – right) perforated, internally vented brake discs Ø 374 x 36 mm, set brake pads, 8-pieced brake pads and caliper mounting bracket. They can also provide spring kits for the car’s suspension.

As for the wheels, you get Type IV wheels silver in 19 inch and BiColor in 19 and 20 inchType V lightweight forged wheels in 20 inch Type VIII wheels BiColor in 19 Zoll Type VIII racing forged wheels BiColor in 21 inch.

For the interior they came up with a checkered carbon fiber trim that can hypnotize you if you stare at it for more 5 seconds, black “Exclusiv“ aluminium cover for i-Drive system controller, aluminium foot rest and pedals, velours trunk mat and floor mats.

And if you’re still insisting for that body kit, here’s its ingredients:

This is the AC Schnitzer-tuned BMW 5-series based on the 530d diesel model, and even though they insist it is “Dynamics in its most beautiful form”, there’s no getting away from the fact that it’s really ugly! The standard 5-Series F10 is fine, but that front bumper is rubbish and at the back they made it look like a Lexus. So as far styling matters, it’s not a job well done. Maybe other parts are better…

Of course the 530d gets a power boost, from 245 HP to 286 HP, and they are developing similar kits for other diesel-powered 5ers. They also provide a twin sports rear silencer with chromed “Sports Trim” tailpipes which can be fitted to 550i, 535i, 535d and 530d and enhances the engine response as well as its soundtrack.

The car also gets AC Schnitzer spring kit (25 mm lower than standard), AC Schnitzer 8-piston high performance brake system, 19 or 20-inch Type IV wheels in BiColor or silver.

Interior modificaitons include aluminium cover for the i-Drive System Controller, aluminium foot rests and pedals set, and gear knobs in leather, aluminium (black anodized), with leather and illumination or digital gear display. Boot and foot mats in velours complete the interior package.

GRIP is a very cool motoring show broadcasted by RTL II in Europe. In one of their latest episodes they try to answer a question that’s on the lips of the nation: What is the best getaway car for a bank robbery?! Since as standard cars are not really up to the job, they’ve lined up a series of highly powerful tuned cars that go head to head with AC Schnitzer’s 123d Police car. It’s a bit long, 11 minutes, but it’s well worth it!

German tuner AC Schnitzer finally revealed their package for the high performance BMW X6M, and as expected it’s an ostentatious kit. But it would look good parked in front of Starbucks cafe in Dubai mall! The body modifications are deep, but apparently the package is not complete yet as AC says they are working on performance upgrades as well. Meanwhile they can only offer carbon fiber decoration for the engine bay!

The body kit includes front spoiler, rear roof spoiler, rear wing, rear diffuser and dome other garnished for the front an drear bumper. The most noticeable part of it though is the new carbon bonnet with vents and chromed centre web as well as a plexiglas panoramic window! Thanks to the new flared arches, AC Schnitzer’s X6 is about 40 mm wider than the standard.

As for the interior you get a complete carbon trim package plus ACS steering wheel, AC Schnitzer aluminium cover for the i-Drive system controller, aluminium footrest and pedal set, and velour foot mats, and a new speedometer up to 360 km/h.

They also provide a large collection of wheels for you to choose form including 20”, 22” and huge 23” in Type IV BiColor, Type VII silver, black or BiColor, or the AC Schnitzer forged alloys Type V or forged racing rims Type VIII BiColor, with 275, 315, 295 and 335 tires.

German tuner AC Schnitzer is currently working on a complete tuning package for the new generation of BMW 5-Series saloon, but until that gets ready they are offering new set of wheels for the car. They’re not that new to be honest, but they’re nice! The choices include Type IV, V, V forged and VIII, and they are available in 19 and 20-inch size. Apart from that, you have to say the new 5er looks good in white! There are more pictures after the jump.

AC Schnitzer revealed another one of their Geneva-bound products which is a modified BMW 5-Series GT. And like their package for BMW X1, not only they haven’t tried to make it look better, they made things worse! The body kit includes revised bumpers, modified bonnet and side skirts, a lift gate wing and new mufflers belonging to the car’s sport exhaust system.

These silencers are said to give the 5er GT a more distinctive noise, specially now that the power is also upped form 245 to 286 hp (this car is based on the 530d Diesel). The ride and handling is also optimized thanks to the AC Schnitzer suspension spring set and their new Type IV wheels in 19″ or the BiColor Version in 19″ and 20″.

You can also have the Type VII in silver and BiColor in 22″ and the alloy forged wheels in Type V in 20″ and 22″, or even the all-new Type VIII rims in 19″ or the racing forged alloys Type VIII in 22″. So at least for the choice of rims, you are very well covered!

AC Schnitzer BMW 5-Series GT also has an elegant interior garnished with a cover for the i-Drive System Controller, foot rest and pedal set in aluminium, velours footmats and boot mat.

If you thought BMW X1 cannot get any uglier, check this out! Thanks to the new aerodynamic kit prepared for it by AC Schnitzer, the X1 becomes a major candidate for the ugliest car of the year contest, if only such an award existed! They install a front and a roof spoiler plus a diffuser for more downforce, but why would you need that in a SUV which is not that fast anyway?!  The tuner also offers upgraded engines and suspension and new 18,19 or 20-inch wheels.

Inside the cabin you get silver “Exclusiv” carbon interior trim, illuminated leather gear knob, aluminium gear knobs with or without digital gear display, “Black Line” aluminium cover for the i-Drive system controller, aluminium handbrake handle and pedal set, foot rests and velours foot mats.

As for performance, BMW X1 xDrive23d has been upgraded from a 150 kW/204 HP diesel engine with BMW TwinPower Turbo and Common Rail injection to 240 HP. The 2.0 d and 1.8 d units in the BMW X1 also feature Common Rail injection and a turbocharger, and with the AC Schnitzer tuning package achieve 210 and 171 HP respectively. Naturally, the power upgrades are available for both the sDrive and xDrive versions. The AC Schnitzer engine styling including capacity logo is available for vehicles with and without performance upgrade.

So thanks to the new sport springs and the body kit, AC Schnitzer ruins the already rubbish off-road capabilities of the X1. But you know wha, that’s fine. Because X1 is a city crossover and no one expects it to handle rough trains anyway. The thing is, for the same amount of money as a BMW X1 you can get other SUVs which are more capable, better equipped and most importantly, much better looking!

By creating the ACS3 3.5d Coupé, based on the BMW 335d, Ac Schnitzer brakes the world record for the fastest production diesel car for the third time in a row! Apparently they are really god at working with diesel engines! The record was set during ‘Auto Bild Sportscars‘ high speed test at the world famous Nardo track in Italy. The ACS3 managed to hit 288.7 km/h (~180 mph). This record is 8.7 km/h faster than the previous one set in 2006.

They also tested the AC Schnitzer ACS4 3.5 turbo – based on the BMW Z4 sdrive 35i – and achieved 303.1 km/h, quite impressive for a roadster. As a BMW specialist, AC Schnitzer also is the creator of the Tension, world’s fastest road legal Bimmer.
