That ASMA Giant Cayenne we showed you earlier has a sister. And here it is, the JE Design Audi Q7 widebody.

It is as fat as its Porsche brother, with some massively flared wheel arches that are connected through new side sills, Both front and rear bumpers are also modified to make the car look chunkier and more muscular.

It is not pretty though. Especailly round at the back those look really idiotic in the bumper. And all those LEDs at the front make the car loo like a bus. Even that roof wing is ugly!

The body kit is so massive they apparently didn’t bother lowering the suspension, but you can order the air suspension modulel, for a whopping 1,500 Euro. They did however fit the car with big wheels. They are available from 20 to 22-inch and can be had in matte-black, front silver matte / shadow silver, and polished / graphite matte. The 22″s will set you back some 5,200 Euro.

JE also provides you with a power upgrade kit for the 4.2-liter TDIV8 engine, which boosts the output from 250 kW (340 PS) standard to 302 kW (410 PS) with 895 NM (660 lb-ft). With that you can hit 100 km/h from standing still in just 6.1 seconds.

Audi announced a new entry-level diesel Q7 powered by a 3.0 liter TDI unit with 204 PS.

This is apparently for those who might find the 245 PS version a bit too brisk! It does 0 to 60 mph in 9.1 seconds and reaches a top speed of 127 mph. That’s slow, but on the upside you get a full-size, fully loaded SUV which does 39.2, with CO₂ 189g/km. A great school run car then.

As mentioned this car is really fully loaded in the new S line Plus grade, which comes with 21-inch 5 segment-spoke alloy wheels, standard metallic paint, tinted privacy glass as standard. It also offers Verano leather upholstery, hard disc-based navigation with Google Earth mapping, in-car Wi-Fi hotspot, Audi Music Interface iPod connection,  powered tailgate operation, Audi Parking System Advanced with reversing camera  and running boards.

This Q7 is also available in Standard, SE, S line trim levels. S-Line Plus grade can also be ordered with other petrol and diesel versions.

Kahn’s latest project include an Audi Q7, lots of  black paint, and some big wheels. The ingredients stack up for something good.

2011 Audi Q7 Black and White by Kahn gets the same massively posh body kit that customers like a lot. But the tuner has applied its own unique touches to make it cool.

The kit includes wide arches, front wings with vents, front and rear bumpers and a stainless steel sports quad exhaust system, complemented by tinted windows, and 22-inch RS-X wheels finished in black.

As always, Kahn promises a superbly luxurious interior with the latest features and the finest materials.

Yesterday we had the Project Kahn Audi Q7, and now MR Car Design releases their package for the big German SUV. But it’s not like that it’s make it harder choosing between the two, after all Kahn’s car comes with a Kahn badge! MR Car Design might not be just as glamorous, but the package they’ve put together is actually very good.

Even if your Audi Q7 is as old as 2008, they can give it the face of the 2011 model by adding the LED indicator strip in the bumpers. Then they add a set of MRGT22 9.5×22-inch wheels wrapped in 265/35-22 tires finished in matte black for a distinctive look. The wheels will cost you 2599 Euro.

They can also modify the interior with a RS6 steering wheel, but that’s not very good. If you want to spend more on your car put it on performance upgrade. The 4.2-liter V8 TDI gets optimized electronics and K&N air filters so its output goes up from 326 to now 374 hp and the torque from 760 to 970 Nm. They also remove the Vmax limiter for fun!

Project Kahn was pretty happy with their last package for the Audi Q7, so they decided to come up with one for the new 2011 model. The new kit called Q7 Wide Track, features some new things, chief among of which the Widebody Aerodynamic Styling Package. It also has a cozy red and black interior.

The wide body kit of the Wide Track Q7 consists of Wide Wheel Arches, Front Wings with Vents, Front Spats, Rear Bumper, Exhaust Trims and Rear Roof Wing. It does give the Q7, which is already so bold, an even bolder presence, but to be honest those changes are not noticeable for an uninterested eye.

The only feature that everybody will notice are the Kahn’s signature wheels.

As for the interior, you get Black Perforated Nappa Leather on all 7 seats with Maranello Red Seat Stripes, White Speedo and Red Rev Counter, Door Entry Sill Plates, and Machined Aluminium Foot Pedals. The rear passengers are kept entertained throughout the journey with two headrest mounted 7-inch TFT screens, DVD player, wireless infrared headphones, and a remote control.

Despite being a diesel, Audi Q7 V12 TDI is by no means a sensible car! It’s got a massive engine with 500 hp and more torque than you can imagine. Still, tuner Anderson Germany thinks they can make it even more pointless extravagant. So first off, thanks to a special air cleaners and software optimizations, they increase the power to 550 hp.

Then they get busy with the visuals. Apart from those gigantic wheels, 0×22 inch with 295/30-22 finished in black, you struggle to tell the exquisite touches applied to the exterior. They include carbon fiber bordergrill, front and backdiffusor, mirrorcaps, roof drip, logo and exhaust tips all in black in contrast with the white finish of the body.

The changes are instantly noticeable inside the moment you set foot in the car and see that racing child seat! You get white carbon-applications to the ventilation shafts, Parking brake lever, consoles edges, steering wheel,door handles, and the edge of headliner, as well as the shift levers, the center console, the speedometer and the radio screen. The best feature of the interior however is the black leather and Alcantara upholstery.

The new Project Kahn package for Audi Q7 is inspired by their RS600 Range Rover Sport, and it looks good. On the outside it features Pearl Soft White Paint, 22″ KAHN RS-X Wheels, KAHN Wide Arched Body Kit including Vented Front Wings. But the best part of this car in the revamped interior.

There you are treated with KAHN Quilted Leather with contrasting red stitching for all 7 seats, KAHN Red and Cream Dials, KAHN Aluminum Foot Pedals, KAHN Welcome Lights and Panoramic Glass Roof. You can buy each part of the package separately, but if you want as a complete kit it’ll cost you £56,875 which includes £12,000 worth of Project Kahn accessories.

Audi is determined to offer a variation of the Q7 SUV for everyone! They offer this car with a massive V12 turbodiesel for those who want power and now a frugal 3.0 liter V6 diesel for those who don’t! The thing is though, those who want an frugal car barley think about purchasing an enormous SUV such as the Q7.

OK if we cut to the chase, the Q7 3.0 TDI offers 150 kW (204 hp) while consuming an average of just 7.2 liters of diesel per 100 km (32.67 miles per U.S. gallon). It comes as standard with eight-speed tiptronic and quattro permanent all-wheel drive round out the luxurious drivetrain.

To make it more efficient, Audi has also specially lightened it. It weighs far less than 200 kilograms (440.92 lb) and extensive measures minimize internal friction.

Innovative thermal management – a new feature of many Audi engines – is particularly complex in the 3.0 TDI. The crankcase and the cylinder heads have separate cooling water circuits; coolant is not circulated within the block while the engine is warming up.

As for the performance, the Q7 3.0 TDI accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62.14 mph) in 9.1 seconds. In the version with an optional air suspension, it reaches a top speed of 205 km/h (127.38 mph); with steel suspension, 202 km/h (125.52 mph).

The entry-level version of this diesel model is priced at 51,800 in Germany.

The invention of Quattro was definitely very important for Audi, that’s why they can’t stop celebrating it! For the 30th anniversary of their unique four-wheel-drive system, Audi has prepared a special edition of their full-size SUV, the Q7, but only for the Italian market. It’s called the “30 Year Quattro” Edition and is all about extra equipments and garnishes.

This package is not cheap. For the V8 models it costs 7,900 euros and for the V6s 5,500 euros (both are diesel). And it includes a few luxury toys you can easily live without. Some of these new stuff include adaptive cruise control, Parking System Plus, Bluetooth, third row seats and …

The car also comes as standard with the Advanced Plus package which adds adaptive lights, heated, electric-powered front seats and upgraded Audi Multimedia Interface.

So the starting price for this special editions will be around 64,000 euros. You decide if it’s worth it or not.

With one of their most ostentatious kits ever, JE Design gives a widebody treatment to the already huge Audi Q7 S-Line. The result is this monstrous car you see here, which from some angles looks pretty much like a Japanese vacuum cleaner! This massive kit is accompanied by some engine and suspension upgrade and new set of wheels.

The kit consists of front spoiler corners which JE DESIGN offers for the Q7 S-Line in pairs, with and without the wide body kit (690 Euro), the twelve-part flared wheel arch kit including the door trim (2699 Euro), and the rear bumper extension with lozenge-shaped double exhaust outlets on both sides (1798 Euro). There’s also headlight bezels (99 Euro), and rear spoiler which covers C-pillars (1099 Euro).

This car is based on the 3.0 liter TDI model, which has been tweaked by a new map for its ECU. Thanks to that the power has gone up from 233hp to 285 hp and the maximum torque raised from 500 to 550Nm and the top speed from 210 to 219 km/h. The acceleration is also enhanced as it now takes 8.5 instead of 9.1 seconds.

The electronic suspension system JE Design offers lowers the car by 35mm and costs 1428 Euro. Other feature is indeed the 10Jx22” alloys finished in graphite-silver with polished edge strip and Ultra-High Performance 295/30 tyres from JE DESIGN for 5190 Euro.

Normally you expect tuners to get more and more power out of every engine they come across regardless of emissions and fuel economy. But ABT Sportline decided it’s time for tuners to become more environmentally responsible! So they’ve come up with a version of 2010 Audi Q7 powered by a 3.0 TDI Clean Diesel which they claim fully complies with Euro 6 emission standard, which is not mandatory yet.

The fact that they’ve achieved this with a giant SUV such as the Q7 is astonishing, but if it catches on soon the horsepower war will turn to CO2 war and whoever gets the least amount wins! And that’s just not cool, they should leave the green stuff to the manufacturers and keep providing us with big horsepower numbers.

“It is our task to meet the growing demands of ecologically sensible mobility so that the driving enjoyment still remains”, says Hans-Jürgen Abt, the General Manager of ABT Sportsline.

“The three litre turbo diesel in our ABT Q7 already meets some of the stricter regulations compared to European Standard 5, and further vehicles and engines are currently being planned and will be certified by TUV Rheinland”, explains Hans-Jürgen Abt.

Audi Q7 is a huge vehicle by anyone’s standard, still JE Design thought it’s nice to add a few more inches to its width! So they’ve come up with this kit which apart from the styling modifications also includes performance enhancement as well. The Q7 by JE Design also has a meaner face thanks to the blacked-out grille and headlight bezels.

The body kit comes with a front spoiler, hugely buffed up fenders with matching door panels, a new tailgate skirt with dual stainless steel tailpipe and a roof spoiler. There’s of course a new set of wheels, some huge ones! They come in size 10 x 22″ and 4 color, coolest of which is the matt graphite you see here. You may also have them in gloss graphite, black or silver.

Also for good measure, JE Design fiddles with the  air suspension and lowers it a bit. Nice!

The 6.0V12 TDI engine in the 2010 Audi Q7 is one of the finest diesel engines ever made which combines a huge power with excellent efficiency. Well, sort of!not in comparison with the B&B version of it! This German tuner has came up with a power package for this V12 which offers 595ps and 1270Nm of torque. Crikey!

B&B engine modification program includes changes to the suction pipe, airflow and air cooling system and modifications to the unit-injector element, as well as boosting the turbochargers pressure and ECU upgrade. The full engine tuning can cost you up to 10,000 Euros.

The tuner also has two upgrade package for the smaller diesel engine offered with the 2010 Q7. For that 4.2 liter V8 engine you can have either a 375 hp and 850 Nm package for 1.698 Euro, or the 400 hp and 900 Nm one for 4,950 Euro.

And for the smallest member of Q7′s diesel range, the 3.0 liter TDI, B&B has three packages: First one is increase of the boost pressure of 0.15 bar, priced at 1.398 EURO to reach 280 hp and 585 Nm. Stage two costs only a hundred more – 1.498 EURO and the results are much better 300 hp and 600 Nm. The maximum output power of 3.0 litre TDI engine comes with stages three. The engine reaches 325 hp and a maximum torque of 640 Nm.

All cars comes with a 3,948 Euro body kit consisting of front and rear skirt, fender enlargements and roof spoiler. B&B special sport alloys for the car are available in 20,22 and 23 inch.

Are you familiar with Audi Q5? that is in essence an Audi Q7 which they put in a copy machine and set it on 75 percent! The result was called a new car! Same thing is going to happen with the upcoming A7 Sportback and it will be called the A5 Sportback. As you see it here testing at night, this is a coupe-styled four door saloon which will be premiered at this year’s IAA show and will go on sale in September 2009, will be added to the A5′s range of coupe and caberiolet, with an RS version to be launched later.

The engine most probable to power the A5 Sportback is the famous 4.2 liter V8, you might also get it with a V6. But four cylinder engines might not be an option given the sporty character of the car. Speaking of the option list you may find Quattro system there as well. We will find that out in summer at the time of Frankfurt Motor Show.

Audi’s idea of re-styling is bit different than the other’s. They say they have refreshed it for 2010 but the changes are so subtle no one can notice! However they have tried a bit harder with underbody parts and the result of that is better performance and economy. Now take a look at these official videos and see if you can notice it’s a new model!

Audi has released first pictures of the refreshed Q7 SUV as a mid-life update for the 2010. The car features subtle styling changes and comes with a wide range of engines, all of which have been optimized for better fuel economy.

With the new Q7 you get more chrome parts on the body including a newly designed grille with vertical accents, also bumpers, side sills and underbody parts are slightly revised. You also get LED tail lights but if you want LED for headlights, that is an optional extra. And so is the aluminum exterior package which adds even more chrome. Standard wheels have new design too.

Like the body, interior has been updated as well, you get chrome on the console, new wood trimming, ventilated leather seats, new bigger screen and door mounted ambient lighting as some of the upgrades. And it all comes in premium quality you expect from Audi. It also get a new Adaptive Cruise Control like the one in Mercedes S-Class.

2010 Audi Q7 is available with a wide choice of engines. If you opt for petrol, you can have either a 3.6-liter FSI V6 with 206 kW (280 bhp) and 360 Nm of torque or a 4.2-liter FSI V8 with 257 kW (350 bhp) and 440 Nm of torque. As for diesels you have four options, a 3.0-liter TDI with 176 kW (240 bhp) and 550 Nm of torque, a 3.0 TDI called ‘Clean-Diesel’ which only burns 8 liter per 100 KM and covers European standards up to 2014. The V8 TDI is a 4.2-liter with 250 kW (340 bhp) and 760 Nm of torque and fuel consumption of about 10 liter per 100KM. At the top of the range, there is the V12 TDI with 368 kW (500 bhp) and a colossal torque of 1,000 Nm! THis engine can take the big heavy Q7 from stand still to 100kph in just 5.5 seconds, still it averages 11 liter per 100 KM (~20 mpg), Crikey!

FSI gasoline direct injection summary

Audi FSI direct injection gasoline technology was born in the R8 Le Mans-winning sports car found on racetracks from 2000-2005, with its first U.S. application in the 2005 A6 3.2 FSI V6 sedan launching in late 2004 calendar year. Audi unveiled its most powerful sedan to the GCC market within 2008 Sharjah Motor Show. It will be available to customers in the Middle East in January 2009 and is priced at Dhs 450,000 in UAE.
