We told you about this amazing tuning package for 2010 Chevy Camaro by Jon Moss and Chris Fesler back in April, now the company has released more info about different editions and also revealed the price you have to pay to get this special Camaro!
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Serious car enthusiasts can now order their very own Fesler-Moss 2010 Camaro. The Fesler-Moss team knows that one size does not fit all. This led them to carefully design a handful of customizable Camaro packages with the right balance of price and upgrades so that their packages would appeal to as many Camaro enthusiasts as possible. This arduous process resulted in three distinct packages that are each available with a new 2010 Camaro.

Enhancement Package $55,000

This first package may be entry-level, but it’s anything but base model! It features coil over suspension, carbon fiber replacement taillights; stainless steel hood struts; new battery; high-performance air cleaner; 22-inch Fesler wheels plus an alarm/remote start system.

Competition Package $90,000

Aptly named, the Competition Package provides all the performance, handling and style the muscle car enthusiast could desire.
Limited Edition Package $150,000

The Fesler-Moss grand daddy package is limited to 60 units per year and a must for any serious collector. This one is loaded, they pulled out all the stops, but there are still two exclusive features worth mentioning twice. . . Each Limited Edition Package features an individual serial number from 1-60 and personally signed by both Chris Fesler and Jon Moss! Each will include, adjustable coil over suspension, front and rear sway bars, 6-piston Fesler branded brake upgrade, GM LS-9 supercharged engine, Fesler branded bi-modal exhaust system, carbon fiber or black reverse lights, stainless steel hood & trunk struts, carbon fiber interior accents, color matched leather seating, suede headliner, carbon fiber pillar gauge kit, heat and sound barrier, a custom sound system plus Fesler-Moss badging.

2010 Chevrolet Camaro has already been tried by many tuners around the world and to be honest they are all good jobs. In fact the Camaro itself is so handsome that it’s almost impossible to ruin its looks! Now another company called Baldwin Motion has come up with a tuning package for it, and based on the initial details they’ve released it seems to be a good one.

Baldwin Motion Phase III Camaro has power output of 570hp for the regular package. But they can also make a 800hp special version for you, providing you writ a check of $275,000. If you can live with just 570hp though, it’ll only cost you 60 grand, plus a Camaro!

It’s not all about the power of course, Baldwin Camaro features a very cool bodykit with new front grille, heat extractor hood, bootlid spoiler, rear diffuser, chrome tailpipes and best of all, flared wheelarches with huge wheels in them! So it looks as good as it goes.

For more information on the Phase III program including pricing, color options, and availability, feel free to call Larry Jaworske at 941.713.8443.

You might remember back in April we featured some early sketches of the Fesler-Moss tuning package for the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro which were very handsome and promising. Now this one is the creation of Chris Fesler himself, let’s see what he’s come up with…

While the Fesler-Moss version has a nice bodykit and flared wheelarches and the front of the car is covered with billet which is very cool, Fesler’s car looks like a normal Camaro with aftermarket rims. Of course with 22 inch wheels and modified suspension it looks pretty evil, but a kit would be great!

Apart from the visual changes, Fesler Camaro features many mechanical upgrades available in different stages for different price. Again with the Fesler-Moss edition, with the help of a modified Magnuson Supercharger, you can get different levels of power: LS3 (430 hp), LS7 (505 hp), LS9 (620 hp). For this car too you can order the 600hp package. A fully loaded mdel can set you back $150,000.

Stay tuned for more details on Fesler-Moss 2010 Chevy Camaro…

What you see here is Mark Stielow’s (GM engineer and tuner) idea of a proper Camaro! He took a 1969 Chevy Camaro in its original ‘Butternut Yellow’ color and fitted it with the 638 hp engine of the Corvette ZR1. The braking system and the wheels are also from the Vette but the car uses Viper transmission. It took Mark 20 months to build it and when he finished, he called it: Jackass!!!

DETROIT — You knew it had to happen, eventually. Some enterprising engineer/grease monkey/nut job would take the most absurdly powerful engine General Motors has ever made, the 638-horsepower LS9 from the Corvette ZR1, and slapped it into the best-looking Camaro General Motors has ever made, the 1969.

What we have here, then, is the ultimate Camaro, one that goes by the name Jackass.

The engineer/grease monkey/nut job in this case is General Motors engineer and Pro-Touring car-building legend Mark Stielow. It took Stielow 20 months to create Jackass, and predictably then, Jackass is something more than your average engine-transplant hack job. The fabrication appears first-rate. And lest you think big-motored Camaros are only about ripping though the quarter-mile, consider that Stielow started building first-generation Camaros to compete in Brock Yates’ One Lap of America event. And it’s early Camaros that have built Stielow’s reputation. All have had silly names such as Mule, Thrasher and Red Witch.

So Jackass also gets the wheels, tires and monster carbon-ceramic Brembo brakes from the ZR1. No, those pieces are not technically available to your average car builder. One would need a VIN from a ZR1 to get them out of Service Parts Operation, so get one of those first.

The motor, which Stielow says makes about 511 hp at the rear wheels on a Mustang chassis dyno, sits low in a bolt-on Art Morrison subframe. The transmission is a Tremec T56 transmission from a Viper.

How much does all of this wicked Camaro goodness cost? “Well, I can tell you it’s cheaper to just buy a ZR1,” says Stielow, who since the disbanding of the High Performance Vehicle Group has taken a job as engineering group manager in the hybrid vehicle division.

Oh, and the color? That would be the always-sassy Butternut Yellow, which was a standard GM color option back in 1969.
