As diesel is becoming more and more popular in the U.S., Chevrolet announces the specs and details of the 2014 Cruze Clean Turbo Diesel model, which offers the best highway fuel economy of any non-hybrid passenger car in America, and “classic muscle car acceleration,” according to Chevy.
Chevrolet announced the official fuel economy ratings for the diesel version of their best-selling sedan, the Cruze, and they are claiming some big numbers. The car does an EPA-estimated 46 MPG on the highway, which means on a full tank of gas you can cover a distance of 700 miles between the pumps.
