Today at Pebble Beach Concours Bentley revealed its all new flagship model, the 2010 Grand Bentley Mulsanne. It’s the replacement for the mighty Arnage model and while that car was like the Buckingham palace on wheels, this one looks like an old sick dog, on wheels! It’s exquisite but I don’t think anyone look at that goofy face and says Yes! that’s a beauty! But at least it has a cool name, the Mulsanne, which is the name of an old race track in France.

Full details and more pictures of the Mulsanne is expected to be released some days before the upcoming Frankfurt motorshow where the car will make its world debut. Apparently it will use a revamped version of the everlasting 6.75 liter V8 engine with around 550 hp. It is also possible that it gets a V12 engine from Audi in order to become a rival for the Rolls Royce Phantom, but considering the way Mulsanne looks, Phantom should not be worried at all.

As Bentley Motors celebrates its 90th anniversary, another dark teaser picture of the upcoming Grand Bentley which will replace the mighty Arnage (and almost certainly won’t be called Arnage!) is released. The company promises to reveal the car during the Pebble Beach Concours D’ Elegance in California, in August.

Bentley Motors today celebrates its 90th anniversary and confirms that its all-new Bentley will be revealed – and named – in August at the Pebble Beach Concours D’ Elegance in Monterey, California where the company is a featured marque.

Founded by W.O. Bentley in 1919, the company’s first production car, the 3-litre was delivered in September 1921. Over the next ten years, Bentley went on to produce an array of iconic motor cars. At the same time, the exploits of the immortal Bentley Boys – a select group of businessmen, sportsmen and bons vivants – forged the company’s proud sporting pedigree both on and off the racetracks of Europe. The Bentley Boys made the legendary Le Mans endurance race their own, winning five times between 1924 and 1930.

The all-new grand Bentley captures the 1920s ‘grand touring’ spirit of the Bentley Boys, delivering the effortless driving, exclusivity and adventure desired by the real motoring enthusiast. A unique fusion of elegant design, hand craftsmanship and technological innovation, the new model embodies the potent yet luxuriously refined driving experience that is ‘pure Bentley’. These have been the hallmarks of a Bentley since that first test drive in 1920.

It is fitting that the 90th anniversary of the Company will be marked by an all-new car. Such events are rare milestones in the Company’s history. Designed, engineered and built in Crewe, which has been home to Bentley Motors for over 60 years, it has been a ‘once in a career experience’ for many involved. The car and its name, which will be revealed at Pebble Beach on 16 August, signal a new era in British luxury motoring.

Bored with Bentley’s endless teasers? Check this out! Carmagazine scooped the Grand Bentley and by the looks of things it’s in production trim and ready to take the market by storm in 2010. Although it’s hard to talk about the car’s design for the time being, but obviously 2010 Arnage has inherited most of its styling cues form the model it’ll be replacing.

And what we see from these camo’d pictures is a Flying Spur lookalike front end and chromized mesh grilles! All in all, new Arnage will be quite bold and posh but leaner and smoother than the previous model, which was literally like the Buckingham Palace with wheels!

Being a 2010 model the Grand Bentley will be full of new trendy technologies. LED lights, for example, is a must have feature! And since this Arnage is being built under audition of VW, it’ll be a product of much higher quality than its predecessor. It’ll also be much more refined in terms of handling, safety and emissions.

Here we go again! Another video teaser of the upcoming 2010 Bentely Arnage aka the Grand Bentley. The problem is, this kinda teasers are so useless and boring and will eventually make you sick if they keep coming like this, so when a good one comes out you might ignore it inadvertently! And it’s funny only British brands do this, Jaguar is also a huge fan of these mind-numbingly boring teasers!!!

The new 2010 Arnage or as they call it the ‘Grand Bentley’, is ready to take the market by storm but Bentley wouldn’t just let it go without some proper marketing. So they give us another round of teaser videos to drool over! You won’t see much in the videos, but some say the new Arnage looks very similar to the old one, which is not bad news really. Arnage has an iconic shape, its character shouldn’t be ruined.
