This is Acura’s first ever Super Bowl commercial, and they’ve done really well. It is about the new NSX — what else could it be about — and how Jerry Seinfeld, apparently bored with his Porsches, do anything to get the first one. But he loses to Jay Leno, who looks kinda funny in his flying squirrel jumpsuit! The new Honda/Acura NSX is three years away from its market launch, and we do hope to see more commercials like this until then.

Couple of days ago Jay Leno released a short video to announce the arrival of his personal McLaren MP4-12C to the Garage, and promised a full review of the car. Well, here’s the review, giving you the most detailed look at the MP4 yet. The first parts of the video are about Jay’s previous encounters with the car, but bear with it, Jay will reveal some fascinating facts about the car you won’t get in any other road test. Jay really does like this car!

About time! The amazing Fisker Karma finally pops down at Jay Leno’s Garage for the man to take a look at, from Jay’s point of view. Joining him in this 20-minute long video — which includes the story behind the car as well as a review, is the founder of the company — and former Aston Martin designer, Henrik Fisker. This 1959 Corvette takes the idea of restoring a classic car to the next level. In fact, apart from those glorious looks it shares little with the original ’59 Vette. This car is the winner of GM Design Award at 2011 SEMA. It’s got a 700-hp engine, and it looks very scary, but in a good way. In this video Jay asks Sean Cassar, the man behind this project, what on earth possessed him to come up with such a beast.

Jay Leno, as you know, is an old school guy. And that begs the question why is he so passionate about the new McLaren MP4-12C, a car with more computing power than NASA. But you see, McLaren is Jay’s favorite car maker of them all. So when they announced they are making a new car, Jay just couldn’t help but get it. In fact, he was so eager he went to England to drive a prototype long before the car was revealed. Now his MP4 has arrived at the garage, and here’s a short video of it sitting besides it granddad, the F1.

John Hennessey brings his latest 1,200hp Venom GT to Jay Leno’s Garage for a review and test drive. We were quite keen actually to hear Jay’s verdict on the car. You see, the Venom is, pretty much, as fast as a Veyron – save the top speed – and it’ll probably beat the Bugga in a race round a twisty race track, because of its weight and Lotus connections. But it also costs pretty much the same as a normal Veyron, and, well, it’s hard to choose a car made by a tuner from various bits of other cars, instead of what’s quite literally the best car in the whole of human history.

Perhaps the answer is to get them both!

This fantastic 1932 Ford hot rod is built for a good purpose. Called the ‘Metal of Honor’ in honor of U.S. military veterans, it is created from donated parts and built by volunteers, to be auctioned off at Barret Jackson in January to fund scholarships for the children of slain and disabled soldiers. We hope it raises millions in the auction. In this episode of Jay Leno’s Garage director of the IronMen Foundation Chuck Caswell talks more about the car and its exquisite details.

On its way to the American showrooms, Fiat 500 Abarth first stops by Jay Leno’s Garage for the old man to take a look at this fast little Italian car. The 500 Abarth is widely known as a 20 grand car that delivers joys of a 100 grand car. To find out why, Jay is joined by Fiat America’s executive Joe Grace for a complete tour of scorpion-badged Fiat.

This new episode of Jay Leno’s Garage is your ‘top secret’ clearance to visit General Motor’s Advanced Design Center somewhere deep in Detroit suburbs, probably! This is the place where GM’s concept cars and new technologies are developed. You get an exclusive tour of the facility by VP of Global Design Edward Welburn. Cadillac Ciel Concept is also heavily featured.

Forget all Lambos, Ferraris, and Porches. This Lenco BearCat is by far and away the coolest car ever featured on Jay Leno’s Garage. It is the LAPD’s SWAT van, a fully-armored 9000 pounds truck with a revolving turret and a 6.7 liter twin-turbo diesel engine to move it around. Looking at that interior you can feel the tension special operators feel as they’re en route to hit a target!

Jay is joined SWAT officer Mark Nee to give you a tour of the vehicle. Then they take it to the streets.

Zenvo ST1, for those of you who may have forgot, is a hyper car from Denmark which with 1100 hp, amazing looks and plenty of speed was supposed give the Bugatti Veyron a hard time. But while the Bugga kept popping out different editions of its Veyron and breaking records, the Zenvo has always been an absentee in the world of supercars. They only appear on the radar once or twice a year, and this is one of those times as they took one to Jay Leno’s Garage for the old man to take a look at.

On the surface this GMC pickup truck looks like all the other old American pickups, all of them rubbish in every way! But, back in 1991 this Syclone was the fastest accelerating production car in America with a 5-second 0 to 60 time. That was even faster than Ferrari 348 back then. The key to this amazing performance is a V6 turbocharged engine. GMC Syclone is one special car. Jay will tell you more about it in the video after the jump.

While hanging out at Laguna Seca race track, Jay Leno spotted a rare classic and discovered there’s a fascinating story behind it. The Mark III 1959 Aston Martin DB2/4 was Michael Green’s dad’s company car when he was an Aston Engineer back in the 50s. Now the car has been passed to him and he attends classic car events and vintage races with it. How awesome it is inheriting a vintage racer! This time around Jay Leno brings to you a vintage race car. The 1939 Logonda V12 Le Mans Replica is owned by Jay’s friend Richard Morrison. The car has an incredible story behind it. Two of this Le Mans winning racer were hit by B1 bombers during the war and there was only one chassis left behind. Jay went to Laguna Seca to catch up with Richard and his superb machine. And not any ZL1, but the very ZL1 that recently set a lap time of 7:41 around the Nurburgring. GM North America Mark Reuss himself brings the car down to Jay’s garage for the old man to take a look at. The 580-hp monster is the fastest production Camaro and it will outrun most of its rivals, some of which cost more than twice the price of the Camaro. It is a phenomenal car.

Sooner than expected Jay Leno released a video of the Lamborghini Aventador. It’s not at his garage, but it doesn’t matter really because he’s got Lamborghini officials there, including CEO Stephan Winkelmann, to go through the details of this matte black beast. They also show you the new Lamborghini carbon fiber bags. Yea I Know!

Jay Leno’s Garage

Horacio Pagani didn’t come all the way to America just to show the new Huayra to Jay Leno. He also brought the Zonda R along. And here’s a quick tour of this record-breaking hyper car. The R is basically a very expensive toy, because it’s not road-legal, and it doesn’t qualify for any of the official racing series anywhere in the world. It is the ultimate track car for the uber rich.

The latest episode of Jay Leno’s Garage features one of the most remarkable cars ever built, Pagani Huayra. To go through details of this magnificent machine, Jay is joined by Horacio Pagani himself and his production manager. Did you know Horacio can’t speak English very well?! I also didn’t know the side mirrors on Huayra are inspired by a woman’s eye. It’s not so much car design as it is painting an art masterpiece.

More awesome stuff from this year’s Pebble beach Concourse, Jay Leno’s Garage provide us with an inside look at the latest special edition Bugatti Veyron, the L’Or Blanc. This unique version of the Grand Sport features porcelain elements for exterior and interior design and has an abstract design. You will learn more details about it in the video after the jump, as Bugatti’s Head of Design, Achim Anscheidt and Jay chat about the car.

From all the new production and concept cars revealed this past couple of days, we liked Cadillac Ciel best. Its sheer size, retro styling, and the whole Cadillacness of it remind us of the days when fuel was cheap, the roads were empty and you didn’t have to worry about your CO2 and what not!

Plus, the Ciel is an incredibly beautiful car and has a wonderful interior with real timber and four separate seats, massive rims, chrome bits here and there… it’s just an awesome car designed for fun and leisure, not to be efficient or fast around Nurburgring!

Now Jay Leno who spent the past weekend filming at Pebble Beach, made a special feature for this car in which he and GM’s Vp of design Ed Welburn go through the details of this magnificent car. The best part of it is when Ed says the Ciel could see production. After all its a hybrid car. But we’re not sure there are too many people who might want a titanic in their driveway!
