Aston Martin couldn’t just sitback and watch while Porsche released images of Panamera, so they mailed CARmagazine some renders of their weapon against Panamera, the Rapide. Or maybe guys at Aston wanted to make a fool of Porsche designers by showing them how a hyper saloon should look like!

It definitely will cost, at best bet, almost twice as the Porsche when it hit the market late in 2009. In terms of looks, comparing Rapide to Panamera is like comparing Paris Hilton to Keira Knightley! However Germans will come with an engineering masterpiece, while the Rapide has to use the same old 6.0 litre V12 only with some tweaks. Afterall this is the new battle between Brits and Germans, and we have to wait for the head to head challenge to know who’s better!
