The old American tuner Lingenfelter announced a brand-new supercharger package for the 5.7 and 6.1 liter Hemi-powered Challengers. It gives them the same sort of power as a 2011 Challenger 392.

The new Magnuson TVS 2300 intercooled supercharger kit is already tested on a 6.1 liter Challenger and upped the power from a dyno-tested 373-hp and 355 lb-ft of torque to over 500 rear wheel horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque.

Lingenfelter’s supercharger kit features 160 degree thermostat, properly sized fuel injectors and a high flow air intake system. It comes as standard with a black casing which looks kinda cheap really. But don’t worry because they do offer a magnificent chrome finishing that enhances your Challenger’s under bonnet looks.

Lingenfelter says that with more boost and a few more adjustment this kit is capable of even more output. Also to assure you their work is of high quality, they offer a 3-year/36,000-mile warranty for the package. Pricing has not been announced.

“Our engineering specialists are able to tune today’s Challengers to deliver increased performance, as demonstrated when the Lingenfelter 6.1L Challenger recently ran a best of 12.03-seconds at 120 mph at the Muncie Dragway in Indiana,” said Owner Ken Lingenfelter. “With more than 30 years of expertise in fine-tuning engines, we have the capabilities to give auto enthusiasts more speed, greater power and enhanced overall performance.”

Only hearing Lingenfelter raises the heartbeat of American muscle car lovers, so this video can very well cause them a heart attack! This is a new Camaro Dragster by Lingenfelter and if we cut straight to the chase, it runs the quarter mile in an almost unbelievable 8.99 seconds while doing 158 mph. The reason it is so insanely fast, is a modded LS9 V8 boosted with Eaton supercharger, which puts out a staggering 1,243 horsepower! If only they could make a road-going version of this!

American legendary tuner Lingenfelter released details of their new upgrade package for Corvette’s LS3 engine, which featuring the Edelbrock E-Force supercharger system, LPE CNC ported LS3 cylinder heads and the recently developed GT9 ZR1 supercharger camshaft, is capable of developing a massive 670 bhp and 565 lbs-ft of torque. That’s more than the standard ZR1 engine, at much lower price.

The package is priced from $13,845.00 and it can be fitted under the Corvette C6′s stock bonnet. It will also enhance the Vette’s idle sound by making it more aggressive, which must mean it’ll be quite noisy all of the time, behind the red light for example! that to be honest is not a very sophisticated option.

American legendary tuner Lingenfelter already has a 9-second quarter-mile record in their portfolio which they have achieved using a modded Corvette ZR1. But now they have renewed their own record, this time using a similarly tuned  LS9 Chevy Camaro SS. The car managed that astonishing time while doing 141 mph at Muncie Dragway, and not even in perfect condition.

The good ol’ American tuner Lingenfelter has set yet another amazing record, this time in a quarter mile drag using their highly modified Chevy Camaro. This 2010 Camaro which is powered by an upgraded version of GM’s LS9 supercharged V8 developing 855 hp, managed to run the quarter mile in 104 seconds at 139.9 miles per hour. I remember in the past decade, Lingenfelter-tuned Corvettes were among the fastest cars in the world. Now though, they seem to be overshadowed by power-crazed German tuners. But turns out they can still cut it, pretty damn well! To prove their expertise, they recently took one of their 739 hp modified Corvette ZR1s to Maryland International Raceway and managed to set a quarter-mile time of 9 seconds! A few days ago we had in news that Lingenfelter is working on a project for 2009 SEMA show in which they are trying to revive the legendary Pontiac Trans Am using a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro! Well, here it is, the Pontiac 455 TA. And although it does not look as charming as the original Firebird, it is a nice try and would inspire other tuners to come up with modern day Trans Ams! After all GM made a mistake killing the Pontiac brand and all of its legacy.

Every panel of the Camaro has been redesigned to resemble the Trans Am, and that led to a complete facelift for the front and rear Fascia. It also features classic Honeycomb design wheels which come in 20-inch size and NITTO tires.

The power of Lingenfelter’s Firebird comes from a modified 7.5 liter GM V8 which develops 655 hp. So while the car’s appearance might not live up to the expectations, its engine would beat them eadily.

This is without doubt one of the coolest kits we’ve ever seen on a Corvette C6! It’s a creation of Specter Werkes for 2009 SEMA show and every bit of it is magnificent. Let’s cut to the chase: The C6 GTR features a full Specter body kit, an 800hp Lingenfelter and it also has HRE carbon fiber wheels. Honestly it is as good as a Corvette can get!

The car’s spectacularly aggressive body is more than just a body kit, it’s a facelift! It has new front and rear aprons with new bumpers, massively flared arches and a whole new design for the rear-end compartment with a pair of odd-looking and huge exhaust pipes. All of the parts are made of carbon fiber and the body is painted in BASF Pearl Blue except for the rear fascia which is done in mate black. This kit is also available for other models of Corvette, the Zo6 and ZR1 both coupes and convertibles.

The Lingenfelter part is also equally amazing. They have provided this car with a modified version of GM’s 7.0-liter LS7 engine which is twin-charged and gives an incredible 800 hp! After all that scary look needed such a powerful punch to support it!

As one of the oldest and finest tuners of GM performance cars, Lingenfelter has the right to convert the new Chevy Camaro into a modern day Pontiac Trans Am! As you know the Pontiac brand and all of its heritage is being killed as part of GM’s reconstruction plan, so this project is actually a great tribute to the brand and one of the coolest cars of all time, the Trans Am.

The car has been in development phase in the past three years but they are going to show it for the first time as a concept at the upcoming SEMA show in Las Vegas next month. The car is powered by a 455 cubic inch V8 engine modified with cylinder heads, pistons and crankshaft along with Corsa custom exhaust to develop 655 horsepower and 610 pound-feet of torque.

The Camaro Tran Am features custom made Honeycomb wheels with size of 20×10-inch for front and 20×11 at the back covered with 275/40-front and 315/35-back NITTO tires. The car also has a custom classic interior resembling the original Trans Am.
