Not sure exactly why, maybe for funsies, but MR Car Design has fitted a VW Caddy with a sophisticated air suspension system.

The system can adjust the ride height on both axles independently automatically or using a remote control. Some of the uses MR says can be imagined for this system is lowering the car in a few seconds for disabled people easy access, or keeping the car level while carrying heavy load.

To make the car look cooler when dropped, the tuner has also fitted it with Rotiform-alloy wheels (8.5 x 19 inches) with 225/35-19 tires.

Can’t wait to see what MR Car Design has in mind for the VW Amarok pickup truck!

Renault Clio RS is frankly not as exciting as you expect a hot hatch to be. But MR Car Design tuning package for it might be the cure.

With some modification done on the car electronic control unit, the tuner has boost the power of the 1.6 engine to 220 hp. To make it sound more powerful too they’ve fitted it with an Akrapovic exhaust system featuring 200-cell catalyst.

The little Clio also gets a set of 18-inch wheels finished in black and wrapped n 225/35 Michelin tires. Smoked lights, tinted windows and some graphics are what MR has done to make the car more visual appealing.

So, still not exciting enough? Probably not!

German tuner MR Car Design tried to improve Maserati Quattroporte, but then realized it’s not really possible to make it better than it already is.

So they decided to just fiddle with it, make a few changes here and there. The car’s ECU was one of the areas they could do some work in without too much faff. So they remapped it and gained an extra 30 hp, for a a maximum 430 hp and 480 Nm of torque. They’ve also installed a new stainless steel sport exhaust system, which is overkill really, because the QP already sounds pretty awesome and needs no tweak.

After that MR turned attention to the wheels and hooked up the Masser with a set of 22-inch Vossen wheels wrapped in 245/30R22 tires at front and 295/25R22 at the back. A suspension lowering module form H&R rounds up the package.

As mentioned, that’s all extra fuss. You don’t really need any of that with a Maserati Quattroporte.

Well, even the 2010 Mercedes is now looking a bit outdated, but for whatever reason MR Car Design has came up with an upgrade package for the 2005 SL65 AMG. This car is too good to be forgotten, and this kit beings it back into the news!

The looks of the car, well to be honest they’ve made it worse than it was with that ugly SLR-style nose from Kicherer. But the newer SL63 AMG rear bumper is a nice touch. They’ve also bolted 20-inch forged rims from Carlsson on the car which I think are supposed to look classic. The car’s also lowered by 30mm.

The massive bi-turbo V12 engine is also further enhanced through software optimization and gains an additional 80 hp and 110 nm of torque to its original 612 hp and 1000Nm. For the interior MR Car Design provides custom-made Black Series dial lenses.

The very best thing about cars like these is that you can now pick them up for dirt cheap. Yes it’s very thirsty and you are going to have to pay a lot of tax because of its CO2, but a 600 hp V12 luxury coupe for 1/5th of its original price is certainly tempting!

Yesterday we had the Project Kahn Audi Q7, and now MR Car Design releases their package for the big German SUV. But it’s not like that it’s make it harder choosing between the two, after all Kahn’s car comes with a Kahn badge! MR Car Design might not be just as glamorous, but the package they’ve put together is actually very good.

Even if your Audi Q7 is as old as 2008, they can give it the face of the 2011 model by adding the LED indicator strip in the bumpers. Then they add a set of MRGT22 9.5×22-inch wheels wrapped in 265/35-22 tires finished in matte black for a distinctive look. The wheels will cost you 2599 Euro.

They can also modify the interior with a RS6 steering wheel, but that’s not very good. If you want to spend more on your car put it on performance upgrade. The 4.2-liter V8 TDI gets optimized electronics and K&N air filters so its output goes up from 326 to now 374 hp and the torque from 760 to 970 Nm. They also remove the Vmax limiter for fun!

If you want a superb and very hot three-door German hatchback, your obvious choice is the VW Scirocco R! But if you somehow ended up with a Golf R instead, don’t despair as MR Car Design has a package that can cheer you up a bit. They don’t do much to the exterior, just a set of 19-inch wheels plus H&R suspension lowering, but the engine has become more powerful.

The standard 2.0 liter turbo engine of the Golf R which has 270 PS as standard is tweaked with a remapped ECU and new sport exhausts, so now it delivers 60 more PS for a total 330 PS with 450 Nm of torque. We still maintain the Scirocco is the better option mainly because of the looks, but then 330 PS is not something that can be taken for granted!

Tuners from MR Car Design apparently had too much time to spare, becasue they’ve updated their rather pointless package for the VW Touran and created the Racing Touran! With some revised electronics, new intercooler and a set of sport exhausts, this Touran now develops 223 HP and 457 Nm of torque. To cope it’s fitted with lowered suspension, 20-inch RS wheels, and a body kit with new front and rear aprons and side skirts. Pointless it might be, but it looks kinda cool.

German tuner MR Car Design has a new package in store for the BMW 335i coupe, which makes it more exclusive and interesting. As for the visuals, MR’s 335i features the M3′s bonnet and 20 inch Breyton Spirit wheels finished in black with 235/30-20 and 285/25-20 tires, which in conjunction with KW coilover suspension improve the car’s looks and handling simultaneously.

But the highlight of this package is the engine upgrade program. By using new XXL intercooler for the car’s turbochargers, a sport exhaust system and optimized ECU, this straight-six unit no longer makes 306 hp, it is now capable of 406 HP and 530 Nm of torque. 100 more hp will make a big difference on the car’s performance!

It is a bit costly though this package. A complete set with all mentioned upgrades can cost up to 7,000 euros.

Yes! here’s another tuned Scirocco, but don’t despair because it’s a good one. The Black Rocco is a creation of MR Car Design and it pays more attention to the content rather than the looks. The 2.0 liter TSI engine of the Scirocco which has 265 hp as standard is deeply modified to give 370 hp and 519 nm of torque! So this handsome car officially graduates fro a hatchback to a full blooded sportscar.

To get 370 hp out of a 2.0 liter engine, MR tuners has implemented lots of changes. They’ve added a Stage 3 turbo kit and a sport exhaust system which also gives the car a magnificent roar, optimized ECU software as well as backpressure and also changed the DSG-gearbox controller to cope with the extra power and the new 35% fins limited slip differential.

With this new technical stuff the Black Rocco should have no problem putting all of its power down to the ground, but to make sure even further, the tuner gives it extra fat 235/30 ZR20 performance tires wrapped around 20-inch wheels. It also gets KW’s V3-coilovers which improves the car’s road behavior.

And finally a body kit from Rieger consisting of a front apron, side skirts , rear valance accretion with diffuser optics completes this awesome package. The whole body gets a sporty foliation and places with the expressive design elements an extra optic highlight.

If you didn’t like the looks of Abt Golf GTI but fancy its extra power, do not despair because another German tuner called MR CarDesign gives you the same 260hp but they do nothing terrible to the exterior! In fact they don’t do anything to the car’s body, only some lowering and new rims, and that’s about it! Instead they focus on performance.

MR CarDesign treatment for the engine includes a software upgrade for the Golf’s 2.0 liter TFSI engine’s ECU which costs 949 euros, with that alone you 260hp and 380 nm of torque, with 0 to 100 sprint time of 5.8  seconds, while you’ll be able to reach 263 km/h top speed.

They also install an electronic XDS system which they say ” is supposed to is supposed to improve the traction of the front wheel driven car “!! For proper stopping power, MR fits the car with an expensive Stoptech high performance brake system which costs about 3000 euros but comes with 355mm discs. There is also brake caliper air vent plug which goes for 99 euros!

MR’s Golf GTI uses KW-thread-sport suspension which costs 1529 euros and drops the car by 50mm at front and 40mm at rear. As for the wheels, they offer 19 inch Oxigin aluminum rims (just like JMS Scirocco) for 2000 euros.  And the last item for your upgraded GTI is a sport exhaust package for 1600 euros.
