Nissan America has put a price tag on the new revised version of the Rogue crossover which will go on sale as a 2011 model. The car starts from $20,810, which is slightly more than 2010 model, but still very competitive. The car comes with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine which develops 170 hp and has better fuel economy than before by 1 mpg! You can have the car with FWD or AWD systems, and manual or CVT gearbox.

Tomorrow at 23rd Annual International Z Car Convention Nissan will unveil a revised version of the Rogue crossover which has received a mild update for 2011. The Rogue slots perfectly between the Murano and Qashqai, and the changes make it even more alike to its siblings. The updates include exterior, interior, comfort and convenience, and audio and entertainment system. The car’s trim levels are also revised and now include S, SV and S Krom.

Along with the new styling garnish like fog lamps surrounds, grille, front and rear skirts, the Rogue also gets newly designed 18-inch wheels for the Rogue S Kr?m Edition and Rogue SL Package, new low rolling resistance tires (available with the 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels) and a new under-body cover.

These features improve the fuel economy by 1 mpg (!) for both Highway driving (FWD models) and City (AWD models). The new EPA estimates are 22/28 mpg City/Highway for Rogue FWD and 22/26 mpg City/Highway for Rogue AWD.

Nissan has released a limited edition of its new crossover the Rogue, called Krom edition which comes with more sporty elements like a new grille, sport wheels and exhaust system. But they seem to be carried away a bit! because what they’ve come up with is actually a proper facelift! The car features a completely new front fascia with a sport chrome grille and a new bumper.

In the rear, the Rogue Krom edition includes a boldly styled sport fascia with integrated center-exit exhaust, a body-colored rear spoiler and rear privacy glass. Body-colored power outside mirrors, a Krom emblem and steering wheel-mounted audio controls complete the Krom equipment modifications.

“The new Krom edition expands Rogue’s already strong appeal, bringing its unmistakable sporty and active design to buyers seeking to stand out from the crowd of ordinary compact SUVs,” said Pat Steiner, director, Specialty Vehicles Group, NNA. “Just as our NISMO models add enhanced performance straight from the factory, the Krom lineup offers intriguing, customized design right off the showroom floor.”

The car also features 17-inch brilliant finish aluminum-alloy wheels with P225/60R Continental Conti 4×4 Contact tires. The limited production Rogue Krom edition is available in both front-wheel and all-wheel drive configurations and in just three exterior colors – Venom Red, Wicked Black and Gotham Gray.

Pricing announced for Nissan’s new trendy crossover, the Rogue. Starting at $20,340 for the basic front wheel drive version, it is powered by a 170-horsepower 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine mated to a CVT gearbox. It also does 22 mpg City/27 mpg Highway for 2-wheel drive models and 21 mpg City/26 mpg Highway for all-wheel drive models. In essence, the Rogue is like discount version of the Nissan Murano!

The 2010 Rogue S models are available with a new special feature, the 360° Value Package. The new 360° Value Package includes 16-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, privacy glass, integrated rearview mirror rearview monitor, auto-dimming rearview mirror, rear spoiler and chrome grille. The 360° Value Package price is $1,040. The 2010 Rogue SL models include standard 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels.
