CAR Magazine published some revealing spyshots of the new drop-top McLaren MP4. These pics, apparently taken by someone with full access to the car, show it with the top up and down.

That makes it clear the new McLaren MP4-12C Spider (or Spyder) has a neat folding hardtop. It kinda has to have a folding top, since its main rival Ferrari 458 Spider has one.

The roof is apparently a three-piece aluminium and plastic job made partly by Lotus. The best thing about it is that even with the roof folded away, you can still see the engine. Ferrari doesn’t offer that in the convertible 458.It’s not a big deal, but it’s a nice touch.The roof is said to go up or down in about 17 seconds.

McLaren has a chance to address the MP4′s soullessness issue with the Spider. They can deliberately make it a bit crazy, a bit lairy. That’s what Lamborghini did with the convertible version of the Gallardo.

The first revealing pictures of the new generation Hyundai Santa Fe leak to the web ahead of the car’s debut at New York Auto Show.

These pictures, which appear to be taken inside the factory, clearly shows the main features of the new Santa Fe’s (ix45) design. Some of it are familiar, such as the side profile which is similar to the ix55, but most of it is new.

The Santa fe gets the same signature hexagonal grille as the rest of Hyundai’s range , but with bolder chrome bars to give it a more muscular look. The shape of the front bumper with the LEDs and underbody protection parts are also very interesting.

The new headlights look similar to that of the new Genesis Coupe and Veloster, but then it’s the common look of all new Hyundais. We particularly like the taillights, and the dual exhausts. They are just so nice!

All in all, the new Santa Fe has a much better design that the car it replaces. Hopefully, improvements are more than skin deep, not that the current Santa is a bad SUV, but there’s room improvement, especially in terms of fuel economy.

The all-new BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe has been spotted for the first time on the street. Good news is it looks just as awesome as the press pictures.

You see, the official press pictures are usually enhanced to make the car look crisp and cool. Live pictures caught by amateur photographers are usually better to judge a car’s looks. Although you have to see the car in the flesh to be sure, but something that looks so stunning here is not going to be a minger in the real world, is it!

The same goes with the new Mercedes SLK and SL. In the pictures they look kinda odd and terrible. But the SLK at least looks a helluva lot better in person, and the SL would too.

The Gran Coupe is the second properly beautiful BMW we are getting in recent years. The first one was of course the F10 5-Series. This version of 6er is designed to take on the Mercedes CLS, and although we love the big Merc, we have to say the Bimmer is much more desirable.

The car goes on sale in a couple of months with a base price of very nearly 80,000 EUR.

Supercar spotter Marchettino this time spotted something quite special. This is a Maserati Quattroporte prototype, a test bed for the new model set for debut at the next Geneva Motor Show. Based on what we see in the video, the car will get a nose job and the rear-end will be revised too. But fortunately it seems visual changes are not that heavy. The QP is a fantastic looking car and Maserati shouldn’t mess with it. The Italian sports saloon also gets a new V8 engine.

The all-new BMW M6 Convertible has been caught undisguised sitting at Bayonne Military Ocean Terminal import vehicles depot.

This car is sent to U.S. probably for demonstration, press events and photoshoots. How do we know it’s the actual M6? That’s easy. The car features massive M-power wheels, oversized brake discs and calipers, a neat rear diffuser and four big tailpipes. These are all telltale signs of a fully fledged M car.

That special color on the car, which appears to be a darker shade of M5′s Monaco Blue, is another reason to believe it’s the real deal.

Engine-wise, the new M6 gets the same 4.4 liter V8 as the F10 M5 with 560 hp. Regardless of the performance, which will be brilliant because it’s a BMW, this car is also properly pretty, especially compared to the old M6. It looks even better to you when you check out the new Mercedes SL.

God knows how they did it with literally no money at all, but Saab is readying a new 9-3. And it looks good.

The picture above was discovered in a presentation Saab supplied to a potential investor last year. The new 9-3 is said to a very strategic model for the Swedish firm, as the brand’s recovery plan relies heavily on it.

If Saab’s recent deal with Pang Da gets approved by the Chinese government, and everything goes to plan, the new 9-3 should be here by 2013. Along with it Saab is also developing new models in crossover and premium segments.

Based on the sketch above, the new 9-3 with its rakish design is going to scare off dentists and architects, the typical Saab customers! But hopefully it attracts a new, wider customer base and finally gets back on its feet.

We really do hope things work out for Saab this time around.

The new generation Hyundai Genesis Coupe must be the worst kept secret in the automotive world in recent years. Not that long after it was scooped on the factory floor, another revealing picture leaks out of there.

It is certain now this is the look of the new Geni Coupe, featuring the latest trends in Hyundai design with the new grille, LEDs and the big mouth which it shares with most of the upcoming models. The rear-end will remain pretty much intact, so does the car’s party piece, the form of the rear windows which gives it a unique character.

What we like about it is the new vented bonnet, and what we really don’t are the new headlights. They look too like the Veloster.

And what we really want to know about this new Coupe is whether or not it gets a V8. Strong rumors suggest it will, but given the current economy and environmental concerns, it might not.

These pictures, caught somewhere in South Korea, reveals the face of the new 2012 Hyundai Genesis Coupe.

Mind you, it could be just a prototype, and the finished version might be different. But we know from different sources and spyshots that Hyundai has been working on a new Genesis Coupe for a while. And the similarities between this and the new Veloster leave us with no doubt this is the real deal. This is the new Geni Coupe.

The car is being prepared for its official world debut at the next Detroit Motor Show.

The new face has given the Coupe a sort of kind and cuddly look! The wide mouth appears to be the new design signature and ever since the new Elantra was introduced, we’ve seen it on every single new model Hyundai revealed. There has been rumors flying around the new Genesis Coupe will get a V8 engine option.

Bugatti boss had confirmed his company will launch a new Veyron model in near future. Turns out the car is a Super Sport version of the Grand Sport.

The Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport, for those of you who may not know, is the convertible version of the 16.4 hypercar. And the SuperSport is the 1,200 hp version of the same car which is currently the fastest production car in the world.

For their new car they just simply mixed this two! These spyshots reveal what’s believed to be the first prototype for the Grand Sport Super Sport, and shows revised bumpers and hood. Engine-wise, the car should get the same 1,200 engine as the Supersport, but it might not be just fast for obvious reasons.

This is the all-new 2012 Lexus GS, spotted not in Frankfurt where it’s supposed to be, but in China.

And immediately you can notice the similarities between this car and the Lexus LF-Gh on which it’s based. Mercifully though, the front-end is not just as crazy as the concept car, and the back looks very normal, a bit like the 2011 Hyundai Sonata even!

The GS has always been known as a refined, quiet, high quality and honest sedan that calms you down when you look at it! The new one certainly doesn’t look quiet and honest – quite the opposite actually, it looks kinda slimy – and but we have to wait and see if it’s the same sweet car underneath. The car will definitely get a hybrid version, but not sure about the V8. It will come as rear and all-wheel-drive models.

Thanks to these pictures, Lexus might drop official details of the car sooner than expected. So stay tuned.

Here’s our first chance to take a look at the new generation BMW 3 Series, due in 2012, without the annoying camouflage obscuring the view.

Alright, so they are not of best quality, because they’ve been scooped during a photoshoot, but they are clear enough to prove the new F30 3 Series is heavily inspired by the current F10 5-series. The front-end looks particularly good to us.

The current 3 Series is a fine looking car, but it suffers from complete lack of emotion and soul. The new model seems to have addressed that issue by adding a bit more drama.

The 2012 BMW 3 Series will also be more technologically advanced and come with new, innovative features never seen before in this class. If you look at the top of the dashboard in the pictures, you notice the Head Up Display unit. It used to be exclusive to big, expensive models, but you can now get it in a 3er.

Don’t look for the car at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show though, as the car’s debut is set for November.

A production-ready prototype for the 2012 Porsche 911, codename 991, was caught at a gas station in Germany.

The car wears little disguise and gives away almost everything about the new 911, from the magnificent new exhausts, new head and taillights, and bigger air intakes. Based on the roof, it must be a Targa version. The changes give the 911 an even more retro look which is great. One thing’s for sure, this is visually the most desirable version of the modern 911s. Remember the 996?!

This is the new baby CLS, called BLS, or CLC, or CLA, whatever, scooped at Mercedes factory in Hungary.

Now, these pictures only show the bodyshell, being prepared for the assembly process, but it’s very easy speculating on the looks of the car. Just zoom out on a current CLS!

On paper it sounds briliant. A smaller CLS which will be cheaper and more efficient. But there is a problem with the car’s image and character. The only reason to buy the BLS/CLC is because you can’t afford the CLS. Do you want people to know your life hasn’t worked as well as you were hoping?!

Details are scarce on the car’s technical specifications, but the word is Mercedes will unveil it at the IAA Frankfurt Motor Show in September.

This is the full-on racing version of Lexus LFA which will compete at next year’s Le Mans 24 hour race.

The LFAs that have been racing at Nurburgring for a couple of years now are all virtually standard road-going cars. But this one, called the GTE is an actual racing machine and it definitely looks like it too.

It’s got the massive arch extensions, a big hole in the bonnet, huge rear spoiler, and slick tires, the whole nine yards! No details on power and performance figures yet, but the standard V10 engine is race-ready in its road spec, so TRD has not much work to do there. They just have to fine tune it with the car’s aerodynamic and new racing suspension and tires.

Since the first day DeTomaso announced they are back in business, everybody was asking about the revival of Pantera supercar. No one didn’t even care about the SLS SUV coupe thingy they made so enthusiastically! Finally it seems they’ve started working on the new Pantera, and this mysterious car you see in the video above is believed to be the first test mule for it, as it was scooped outside the factory. It’s too soon to talk about the car, let’s just hope they know what they’re doing, even though they proved with the SLS that they don’t!

A pickup truck version of the BMW M3? Yes, it does exist. But don’t worry it doesn’t mean anything! A couple of weeks ago spy photographers scooped this car on the Nurburgring and the speculation about it began. The idea of a production M3 pickup is so daft and ridiculous that no one even mentioned it. It is most likely a pointless test mule or something, some even say it is a very fast delivery truck for transporting goods on the ‘Ring. But the fact is this car is a joke, an April Fool’s joke! Maybe BMW wants to show us they have some sense humor too. It makes a good looking Ute though, doesn’t it.

After endless teasers, now we have to go through a series of leaked images, each revealing one side of the car. For God’s sake Lambo, just drop it like it’s hot!

The new image shows the car form the side and I know, it looks sensational! I’d say it’s even cooler than the Reventon on which it is based. Check out that air vent finished in contrasting color and those slashes on the sills. Fantastic. It also seems the car retains its fold-away air intakes. Were still not sure about the doors. They are bigger which means you can get in and out of the car more easily, and the bigger windows also provides better visibility, but they look too like Gallardo’s doors. You know what, we’re nitpicking here!

The fact is that Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 is possibly the best car we will see this year. Can’t wait for Geneva Motor Show to finally see the car in its full glory.

BMW has taken a version of its EfficientDynamics  Sports Hybrid Concept, allegedly called BMW i8, to the Middle East for some testing, motorshows and photoshoots. This is the first time we get to see this car in real colors, but it is not likely to be the final shape of the production car which is due in 2013.

When it comes it’ll be powered by a 3-cylinder turbo diesel with a hybrid synchronous motor at the front axle and a full-hybrid engine at the rear axle enables an overall system output of 241 kW/328 bhp.

The car has apparently been present at the Kuwait Motor Show, now it’s in Abu Dhabi and almost certainly it’ll be featured at the upcoming Qatar Motor Show as well. So if you want to see it up close, there’s your chance.

If you thought Ferrari 458 Challenge was awesome, check this baby out! This is the GT2 racing version of the car which qualifies for all types of endurance and GT series including different editions of Le Mans Series. This is a spy picture of the car testing at Fiorano track, and even though it’s not finished yet and has no livery on, it looks fantastic.

The GT racer version of the Ferrari 458 Italia will be available in GT2 and GT3 formats, so it can have from 470 to 600 horsepower. It also gets a Hewland six-speed sequential transmission instead of the standard car’s seven-speed dual-clutch. One other difference over the 45 Challenge will be the wheel size, as GT2 sports 18″ rather than 19″. It is also slightly heavier than the Challenge, but then it has beter aerodynamics.

According to the source, Ferrari 458 Challenge costs € 245,000, the GT3 version will have a price tag of € 340,000, and the GT2, all of a sudden, € 480,000 all excluding VAT!

Even from the very beginning Hyundai didn’t really care concealing the new generation Azera or Grandeur, or whatever it’s called in your country. First they released official renderings of the car, and then leaked out clear pictures of it. And now a registered fully undisguised Grandeur has been scooped on a Korean highway! So if you want to see the 2012 Hyundai Grandeur, here it is. Imagine the 2011 Sonata, only bigger, fatter and more luxurious! We’d like to see what they’ve done to the interior, maybe that’s the next thing to be accidentally revealed.
