BMW announced plans to put the extreme version of 1-series called 135i supersports also known as Tii into production. The car has all the features to revive the glorious age of 2oo2 models which when it came almost 40 years ago became the undisputed king of compact sports cars and started a class of its own. Like that car, Tii has a lot of stamina in form of a turbocharged inline-six engine developing 326-horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque. That is a lot of power in a car with size of a shoe! Combine that with BMW’s classic rear wheel drive handling, and the result is tremendous driving joy. Of course if you can live with its ugly look!

The production version however will reportedly get a smaller engine, 4 cylinder maybe, to keep the price low, which is a shame really. Because the only reason to tolerate this hideous looking car is power and handling, omit them and you left with… S#%@!

One of the sweetest names in the sweet world of Hot Hatchbacks, is Ford Focus ST, but if that is not enough for you wait some months until Ford release the Focus RS version, an evolution over ST with much more stamina!

Powered by a 2.5-liter turbocharged inline 5-cylinder engine developing 300 Horsepower, this rocket pocket can do 0-100 in 5.9 seconds and gains top speed of nearly 260 Kph. It comes with a set of exterior tweaks which totally separates it form the ST, things like crazy bumpers in front and rear, bonnet holes, huge rear wing and three new distinguishing colors , “Performance Green”, “Indianapolis Blue” and “Frost White”. I don’t know why, but both ST and RS has always looked better in blue!

2009 Ford Focus RS has been presented during London Motorshow in July, and is expected to come out next year in summer with European price of €29,980.
