Every now and again Suzuki releases a new special edition of its Swift hatchback in the UK market to make sure their most popular model stays nice and fresh. The Swift has a successful formula and Suzuki, understandably, is reluctant to change it. They just tweak it.
Suzuki announced the launch of a new and thoroughly revised version of its popular Swift in the British market. Apart from a couple of small enhancements inside and out, the Swift range is further expanded in the new modelyear with the addition of a 4×4 variant and a five-door Sport.
The Sport is the most desirable version of the lovely Swift hatchback. But so far it was only available as a three-door car, which drove a lot of customers away because they needed more practicality. That problem is now solved with the launch of the new five-door model.
Suzuki has come up with a new version of the lovely Swift hatchback that has an option that may sound like a bit of an overkill to most people. It is a fully automatic, permanent four-wheel-drive system. Watch out Range Rover Sport, right?
Suzuki releases another special edition version of the Swift in the UK. This time it is based on the Swift Sport, and it is limited to just 100 units, each priced at £14,249 which is only 500 quid more than the standard Swift Sport but offers lots more.

2012 Australian International Motor Show is a good excuse to see the incredibly loveable Suzuki Swift Sport Concept. The Swift is a fine little hatchback and this Sport treatment only makes it more exciting and more desirable. Suzuki is of course going to make it at some point, but maybe not in this exaggerated state.
