The guys from Prestige just announced its latest modification, a new styling kit for the 2010 Range Rover Sport. Several features have been added and the final result looks quite attractive. Check a few pictures and the official press release after the jump.

The British car tuners at Prestige have released a new styling kit for the 2010 Range Rover Sport. Giving the Sport more road presents. Prestige have added several aerodynamic parts to the Range Rover. The front received a new bumper with integrated fog lights and LED day running lights and larger central air intakes. Wider fenders complete the wheel arches and add a much more aggressive look. Extra air intakes were designed in the new side skirts which give the appearance of a lower ride height. In the rear of the Range Rover Sport, Prestige installed a new bumper retaining the OE rear reflectors with a custom lower section to fit the exhaust pipes and a towing cover.

The tuning is not limited to only bodywork on the Range Rover S, they have added new side wing vents with the option of the relocation of the side indicators from the door to the wing vent and a new radiator grille, and new black wheels with a chrome lip. New spoilers for the rear were added, and inside the Range Rover is a series of bespoke-themed leather detailing. Prestige now also offer engine upgrades to increase the horse power to complete the bespoke build program.

Kristin Zippel won the Bodensee’s Miss Tuning 2010 Contest and will be featured in the new Tuning World Bodensee calendar.

The 26 y/o beautiful girl won the award in last weekend’s event in Friedrichshafen – Germany; more than the title, she also won a Nissan Micra, and the calendar photo shoot that will take place in the “Great Lakes” – US.

CDC has just launched his modified version of the Audi A5. For a mere 16990 Euros (around $21000 USD today) you can fully convert your Audi A5 into a great looking sexy vehicle. We really like the work that’s been done, except for maybe the rims. Check out all the pictures and full details after the jump.

These noble materials were united in Audi A5 from the  CDC-International GmbH. The A5 was completely varnished in the exclusive tone Platin-Beam. The whole spraying in this incredibly, silvery-gleaming tone is from 5000, – to have Euro. In the front and in the rear the S5 to typical aprons and spoiler were obstructed. The stainless steel exhaust system (1099 Euros) with 2 double Pipe in 88x74mm gives to the 3.0TDI A5 the optics of the S5 and a very sporty, vague sound for the V6 diesel. The Power of the A5 3.0TDI was raised by CDC by means of the a SpeedBox on 283 HP (208 kW) and 575NM, this corresponds to a plus of 43 HP (32 kW) and 75NM. The CDC SpeedBox is available from 769,- Euros. The experts from CDC-International make for more sporty driving a new Suspension system (1179,- Euro). This System take the Audi A5 chassi up to 60mm more deep. For the perfect styling of the car CDC still obstructs the exclusive rims of the brand LÖWENHART, the wheel with the name LVD was obstructed by the specialists in the huge size 9,0×20,0 with 255/30-R20 and 11,0×20,0 with 305/25-R20. The wheel set (6999.- Euros) in the finish 3D chrome with Continental CSC3 tyre adapts itself in color perfectly in the styling of the PLATINUM A5. Because also extensions of the interior equipment belong to a perfect rebuilding, the leather department of CDC about the extension of the interior has come along. They have taken care of the dashboard, the middle console and the A-column disguising with sun screens and have covered this with the finest nappa leather.

The whole rebuilding has a value of 16990,- Euros

Now this is the kind of hatchback we like to drive around the city! This is a first generation Renault Twingo which has been heavily modified by French tuner Lazareth. As you notice many things have been changed in this car, but the chief of changes is found in the engine bay, where you found nothing! That is because the tuner has installed a new engine right in the middle of the car where normally back seats are placed!

And what kind of engine they’ve put in there? Well it’s a V8, a 3.5 liter small block V8 from an old Range Rover. However, despite being a V8, this engine in its standard form has only 180 hp. Of course Lazareth has tweaked it but do not expect Focus RS kind of power! Even 180 hp is quit a lot in a Twingo, a car which is the size of a shoe!

Twingo V8′s body modifications are pretty clear, so no need to talk about them. We should only point out that it has 18-inch wheels with Yokohoma tires, and race-prep’d interior.

Of course you can’t take this car seriously, it’s more of a joke! But as a technical exercise you have to say it’s brilliant!

What Karl Schnorr has done is taking a Fiat 500  Abarth which is already tuned to the max and then making a pocket rocket from it! Thanks to some engine software upgrade and turbochargers you can have it with either 163 or 200 horsepower, it also features a meaner much sportier look with red detailing like the original Abarth, mouth-watering recipe!

Schnorr leverages the visual appearance up by using sporty parts. The aluminum rims from OZ in red (Seria Rossa) and in size 7×17″ are worth 1.090,00 Euro fitting and vehicle inspection registry included. An improvement for sure, the “normal” Abarth looks much more athletic. Schnorr promises a better road holding after having built in a special coilover kit which lowers the Fiat a few millimeters and charges the account with 1.270,00 Euro fitting and vehicle inspection registry included. For the measurement of the axis will be charged 85,00 Euro and for the adaption of the body 285,00 Euro. No question the serial Abarth accessories emphasize the outline of the Fiat is skilfully. They continue the dynamic layout of the line in a modern way and make hungry for way more.

Power Level I (163 hp – 950,00 Euro) from Schnorr offers for the 1,4-motor with serial 135 hp an improved performance of 28 hp and 45 Nm. At power level II (5.050,00 Euro) you should buckle your seat belt very tight. An aligned engine software in combination with a sport exhaust system with a big turbo charger gives the Fiat 500 the additional 65 hp. Besides the improved performance from 135 up to 200 hp the maximum hinge moment rises definitely. It can keep on carrying Euro 4-Norm.

Hennessey Performance Engineering is working on a hardened, more powerful, race-prepd Corvette ZR1 for those loyal Vette buyers who want something to take on Porsche 911 GT3 and Dodge Viper ACR! So HPE Z700 with 705 hp is probably the right answer to their problem.

They have followed the simple recipe of making a track-focused car, more power and less weight. The ZR1 has been put on a carbon fiber diet, even seats and wheels are replaced with CF models. It also features an aerokit made from the same material. And to maximize the racing feel, inside you get alcantara-covered  steering wheel and knob.

Hennessey will only make 24 examples of the HPE Z700, each for $207,150 (including the initial car) and they offer a performance driving instruction for the buyers, making sure they can drive it properly! Hennessey’s Z700 performance package starts by upgrading the engine supercharger, exhaust and air induction systems and is dyno tuned to 705 bhp. But this is just the beginning. Additional upgrades include lightweight carbon fiber wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires, which reduce rotating weight by nearly 60 lbs. Hennessey’s Z-Aero ™ carbon fiber front splitter, canards and rear spoiler also add over 300 lbs of down force helping to put the added power to the road and track. Rounding out the Z700 upgrade package is a revised interior with lightweight carbon fiber seats, Alcantara steering wheel and shift knob.

Ferrari always determines demand for a specific model before releasing it, say 400 they estimated for the Enzo, and then they made one less, 399 units. So demand stays high all the time. For Ferrari Scuderia Spider 16M that number is 499, so it’s very exclusive. Still you can make it more unique by getting it the Novitec Rosso treatment.

You can’t and shouldn’t mess with Ferrari design and Novitec knows this. So there is not much in terms of styling, you get blacked out lights, some emblems and 20 inch double spoke black rims.

But under the hood is where you get much! In the Scuderia the 4.3 liter V8 is already tuned to the limit, but Novitec can go beyond that by adding a couple of compressors which give the engine a big boost. It is now capable of 696hp and 682 nm of torque! Performance is how you expect it to be: extreme! 0 to 100 takes 3.5 seconds, 200 is achievied in 9.7 and 300 in 23.8 and it’ll keep going up to 330 km/h.

As Ford is introducing the new Shelby GT500 Super Snake based on the 2010 Ford Mustang, a tuner in Dubai called Chrome & Carbon, picked an old Snake and did to it what they do a lot in the middle east these days. “To improve the weaknesses in taking bends“! That’s how German suspension specialist KW explains their sudden act to modify this mighty Dodge Challenger SRT HEMI. And given their expertize, the result must be one helluva car! Check out the package: Challenger killer looks, fast in straight line and fast through the corners, what else do you want?!

Of course KW gives you more! Their magic drops car from 1 to 5 mm. That alone improves the handling significantly. Then there is HRE massive 22 inch wheels which are covered with 265/35 ZR rubber at front and 295/30 ZR at the back, assuring maximum grip. But one thing let the whole car down and that’s those ridiculous LSD doors. Who thought that’s a good idea to put them on a Challenger?!

KW also has fiddled with the car’s 425 hp V8 engine. It’s not a heavy treatment at all. They’ve installed a K&N sport air filter and Magnaflow exhaust system with four 3.5 inch tailpipes, giving Challenger a magnificent roar.

Only a few are left. The changed spirit of time and the crisis of the American car manufacturers diminish the number of classical muscle cars. The Dodge Challenger belongs to this minority. With its brawny shapes, the edged radiator grill and an engine with an enormous cubic capacity, the car is a real American. But this also applies for its road holding. The running gear specialist KW helps to improve the weaknesses in taking bends. With high-quality components, KW makes the Challenger unique and at the same time preserves the character of the American.

425 hp (313 kW) – that is the power behind the 6.1-litre SRT HEMI V8-engine. Thus, the road cruiser has enough propulsion. Therefore, KW has not concentrated on the engine performance apart from fitting a K&N sport air filter and a completely new exhaust system. But when it comes to its road holding characteristics in bends, KW has performed many changes. The running gear specialist from Fichtenberg in Germany fits its running gear Variant 1 in the stainless steel version inox line. The factory-made damping is optimally adjusted to the Challenger SRT8 and renders the perfect balance between sporty and tense adjustment and enough remaining comfort. The running gear is approved by the Technical Control Board and is equipped with an operating license and offers a lowering area from 10 to 50 millimeters on both axles. The stainless steel casing guarantees that the components inside remain continuously flexible even when they are strained more in winter.

In order to make the ideal use out of the new running gear and its perfected road holding, KW co-operated with the high-class manufactory HRE Wheels. The manufacturer equips the Challenger with forged light-alloy wheels HRE 995R in brushed aluminum which shine in a satin black rim well. With their three-part construction, the wheels not only impress with their striking appearance, but also with their premium manufacture. They are available in the dimensions 10×22 inches at the front- and 11×22 inches at the back axle. The applied high-performance wheels Dunlop SP Sport Maxx in 265/35 ZR 22 at the front and 295/30 ZR 22 at the back render the best possible grip.

The exhaust system by Magnaflow renders the right sound for the sporty appearance. The 18-inch prime pipe branches into a two-pipe system and powerfully roars at the back with four polished 3.5-inch end pipes.

But running gear, wheels and sound were not enough for kW. Therefore, the doors of the refined Dodge Challenger can be opened upwards thanks to LSD-hinges. The adjustable Guided Roller System (GRS) renders safety and precision when opening and closing the doors. Moreover, the LSD-hinges have proved in side crash tests that they offer the same safety as the original doors. The gull-wing doors add the finishing touches to the American car and complete the unique refinement.

It was not an easy task for KW to remodel the Dodge Challenger. The aim was to perfect a classic car of the American Way of Life without reducing the myth of the muscle car. This balance has been perfectly accomplished by the running gear manufacturer.

JE Design modifies yet another VW Scirocco, but this time it’s diesel only! They’ve picked Scirooco 2.0 TDI and TDI CR and gave both of them extra juice and appeal. The only problem we see here is this horrible green color they’ve used for these press pictures!

As for design and style, JE Design offers a sporty kit which has aerodynamic benefits as well. You see that aggressive front spoiler, side skirts and rear diffuser with central twin exhausts and you know this is a serious car. But when you see those LSD doors you might think it’s a bit too serious because Lambo doors on a VW is not cool, at all.

The 2.0 liter diesel engine of the Scirooco also received some attention and is available in two power stages. First you have the 180 hp (133 kW) and 400 Nm of torque package which is 40hp over the stock model, and for the CR version it’s 205 hp (171 kW) and 410 Nm of torque which about 35 more. The latter can do 0 to 100 in 7.1 seconds and tops 229 km/h.

The times of shaky oil burners are over. But the diesel engine still has a rather stale image. Now JE DESIGN is taking on this prejudice.

The refiner located in Leingarten, Germany enhances the performance of the already agile turbo diesel in the VW Scirocco with an additional control unit by more than twenty-five percent from 140 hp (103 kW) to 180 hp (133 kW). Also the maximum torque increases from 320 to 400 Newton meters at 1,750 to 2,500 rpm respectively. The maximum speed thereby rises from 207 km/h to 213 km/h, and the acceleration from zero to hundred is reduced by 0.9 seconds to 8.4 seconds.

Also for the new 2.0 TDI CR, JE DESIGN offers a performance enhancement of 170 hp (125 kW) to 205 hp (171 kW). With that, the Scirocco then renders a top speed of 229 km/h (serial model: 222 km/h) and accelerates from zero to hundred in 7.1 seconds (serial model: 7.8 seconds). The torque rises to 410 Newton meters (serial model: 350 Nm)

JE DESIGN offers the entire performance pack with assembly for 1,249 Euros (180 hp) and 1,449 Euros (205 hp) including VAT and adds a 12-month warranty.

In order to adjust the appearance to the newly gained power, JE DESIGN has created an entire body kit. The refiner produces these parts in the usual OEM-quality made of high-quality ABS (Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene). The CNC-milled material ensures a low weight, perfect fitting accuracy and at the same time, the highest material stability.

The kit for 919 Euros including VAT includes a front spoiler with a center sword in carbon look which already renders a racy glance when the car is still parked. The side skirts with air inlets and a rear skirt attachment which is perfectly adjusted to the other component parts and which is also available in carbon-look renders a powerful profile. A refining kit for gull-wing doors (1,549 Euros) completes the body modification.

The muffler made of stainless steel with two central oval end pipes (899 Euros) renders an earthy sound and an impressive appearance. The muffler comes with an EU-operating license. The lowering springs (299 Euros) which were especially designed for the VW Scirocco, lower the car by 30 millimeters and are combined with serial shock absorbers. In order to fill the wheelhouses adequately, JE DESIGN offers the elegant wheel design Multispoke as a complete wheel set. The wheels are available in the size 8×19 inches in shadow silver (2,810 Euros), or graphite matt / with polished edges (2,930 Euros), both with 235/35 R 19 tires.

The sport program for the VW Scirocco can be immediately obtained directly from JE DESIGN, from car component dealers or from Volkswagen partners.

The ultimate British tuner Arden, as a sort of hobby, has given the Mini Copper S some visual and mechanical upgrades. They are mostly interested in big luxurious cars such as Jaguar and Range Rover models, but nevertheless they are going to make 40 examples of this car to mark the 40th anniversary of their first attempt to make a racing Mini.

Arden Mini Equipe features new grille and bumper plus some very nice chrome works and stainless steel exhaust pipes. It’s all very classy and British. But interior is even better! Here too you get chrome casings and steel knobs and pedals, but the best thing about it is the two-tone hand-stitched leather trimming all over the cabin which looks absolutely fantastic. So as far as styling matters, Mini Equipe is just exquisite.

Of course the combination of suspension lowering (30mm) and sport alloys (which at 6.9 kg each are the lightest 18 inch wheels ever made!) not only make the car look even better, they improve handling as well.

Arden has also fiddled with the engine. They have tweaked the ECU, installed a new intercooler and also an improved exhaust system with racing catalyst. So the 1.6 liter turbo engine in the Cooper S turns out an additional 40 hp (standard 170hp). The torque is also increased by 50nm. And to make the car stop properly Arden fitted a performance braking package with 6 pistons in each caliper.

Mercedes Benz CL65 AMG is actually a very perfect car. It’s one of the most luxurious cars in the market today and with 612hp it’s as powerful as a Ferrari Enzo. So you never need anything more than what the car already delivers. Or do you?! The thing is, even if you don’t need it, you still want more of everything! That’s probably why MKB Power has made a special CL65 with a simply  collosal 750 hp.

Called MKB 65/12 BT, its engine is almost the same 6.0 liter V12 as the standard, but they’ve fitted bigger turbochargers, sport camshafts and high flow manifolds. Then with a bit of adjustments on the ECU the engine develops 750 hp and 1250 nm of torque. All of the engine components have also been stiffened up accordingly to tolerate more than 100 additional horses.

CL65 is as heavy as Titanic, but the acceleration is unbelievably quick at 4.5 seconds to 100km/h. The MKB 65 does that in 4.1 seconds and because there is no limiter to hold it back, it keeps going up to 350 km/h. To achieve this MKB engineers had to reinforce the car’s five-speed transmission and also fiddle with its software.

MKB-Power engine upgrade package costs 39,984 euros. If you want their special 20 inch wheels and tires you have to pay another 9690 euros and if you got that, you better get the suspension lowering done as well. That costs 1,630 euros!

Wald International’s Black Bison bodykits are becoming world famous! This Japanese tuner is gaining fame because they do an exquisite work. Black Bison not only sounds cool, all of these kits look pretty sporty and aggressive without being too flashy and disgusting! And that’s the best thing about them. Now as the new Mercedes E-class typeW212 is hitting the streets, Wald is preparing an exclusive package for it.

Unfortunately for the time being they have released only one picture, which looks really good. And based on what we know from other Bison’ed up cars, lower suspension, sporty big wheels (usually black!) modified side skirts and rear bumper with steel tailpipes and a diffuser and maybe a bootlid spoiler will be other parts of the package.  Interior modifications would be done accordingly but there will be no performance upgrade, Black Bison kit is strictly visual.

Well, there is not much to see to be honest! G-power too couldn’t do much with the Z4′s exterior. Their only contribution is a set of 20 inch exclusively designed rims which are pretty nice. When it comes to the engine though, well, they have not done much here either! The power is bumped up from 306 to 345 horsepower through a power module called “Bi-Tronik”, whatever that is. The torque is also increased by 80 newton meters, and that’s about it! G-power tuning package for 2010 BMW Z4!

These are the first images of the ultra hot Mugen Civic Type-R which we reported about a while ago. This car is specially designed by Honda’s official tuner Mugen for Europe and specifically UK where this kind of small fast cars are hugely popular.

Mugen Type-R is powered by the same 2.0 liter VTEC engine but develops 240 hp. It also features a bodykit twice as flashy as the original Type-R as a sign of its inner guts! Bumpers are totally revised, in front you get flaps and splitter and at the back diffuser, two tailpipes and an enormous wing. The standard Civic has a big wing at the back as well which is placed right in the middle making your rear visibility pretty terrible, now in this car it’s twice as big so expect no visibility at all! Mugen Type-R also has no back seats.

The current generation of Honda Civic Type-R has become heavier than the one it replaced but it isn’t that much powerful so it never feels as good as the original car. Now hopefully Mugen has solved this issue with the extra juice they add to the recipe. It’ll be available from Autumn for around £35,000-£40,000.

Suzuki Swift as the base model comes with a 101hp engine and it’s a very nice small hatchback with a very reasonable price tag. Then there is the Sport version which packs 126hp for those who want their cute Swift to be a bit faster. But a Japanese tuner called Monster Sport thinks that real petrolheads might be interested in this car as well, so they’ve come up with a 145hp sport model for them!

It has a very cool name too, Monster NX16, sounds like an anti-tank missile! To get this much power out of that 1.6 liter engine they had to re-program Swift’s ECU and install a high performance exhaust system. NX16 also sits lower than the standard car, has sporty bumpers with bigger air intakes, sport side skirts and a big rear wing. They also fit with bigger wheels under the car , so it has the presence and the power it needs to challenge other hotted up small hatchbacks at least in Japanese market. But this sorta cars are also very popular in the UK, they should consider selling it there as well.

a Suzuki Swift Monster NX16 costs up to 2835000 Yen which is about 21,000 Euros.

For Newport Convertible Engineering even sky isn’t the limit! They can make a convertible out of almost any kind of cars, I particularly like what they’ve done to the Toyota Prius. But the thing is, some cars have too much dignity for such treatment. In these cases, the result will be very unfortunate as you see in these pictures of their try to make a droptop Range Rover!

It is definitely very embarrassing to be seen in this car and God knows how this heavy high riding giraffe will drive now that the roof is gone, but I think it’ll be huge fun! Of course there are some other custom-made convertible SUVs out there (I’ve even seen a topless Hummer in the UAE), but none of them is as odd as this Range Rover. They have even remained loyal to the car’s spilt tail gate!

I wanted to hate NEC for what they’ve done to my beloved Range Rover and give them such a kicking here, but I kinda like this thing! It’s stupid, but fun!

Every time you see the words ” Edo Competition” before the name of a car you know that it is something very special. Firstly because Edo only picks high-end supercars for their treatments and secondly because of that treatment itself! They don’t mess with the styling much, instead they let the performance figures do the talking!

The latest project by the German tuner is this Ferrari California. Ferrari’s first attempt to make a hardtop convertible which didn’t get as much attention as it deserves. So Edo, just to make sure you notice the differences, drops the car and put 20 inch wheels under it. They can fit it with an adjustable suspension system as well. You may also trim the interior to your likes, there are no limits here!

Edo Ferrari California’s V8 engine has received an ECU software upgrade and a performance exhaust system with adjustable butterfly valves and high flow catalytic converters, so it develops 500 hp now which is good for accelerating from 0 to 100 in 3.9 seconds and reaching top speed of 315 km/h. California is a pretty heavy car don’t forget so these numbers are really impressive.

If you buy an Edo-tuned supercar no one will notice that you have paid almost twice the money for the car because it looks pretty much the same as the original, and for this very reason it is very very cool!

For Hennessey, it’s never enough! Their latest tuning package for 2010 Chevrolet Camaro, the HPE550 was pretty pretty hot with 562 hp. But it somehow didn’t phase them enough so they’ve tried to mount a bigger engine in it! And what engine better than Corvette ZR1′s V8 LS9 carat which is the finest GM has ever built.

And they have also fiddled with it so in the Camaro it develops 705 hp and a whopping 717 lb-ft of torque. Hennessey says they will only offer 24 HPE700 packages and each for $39,500 and That’s not included the initial 2010 Chevy Camaro!

So with the LS9 engine and 705 hp you might think it’s the best Hennessey has to offer, but you are wrong! Becasue they are working on a 1000hp twin-turbo version of the car. That will be quit expensive but still the most affordable 1000hp car you can buy! Like I said, it’s never enough!
