Promoting the X-Games 17, professional driver and TV star Tanner Foust appeared last night on CBS Late Night Show with David Letterman and performed one of his coolest tricks, drifting his X-Games Fiesta between two yellow cabs on 53rd Street, NYC. It must be the first time Letterman sees this, because he sounds genuinely amazed! Watch it for yourself after the jump.

Travis Pastrana is not as famous as Ken Block, mainly because he’s just not as good a driver! But he and his publicity people believe it is also because Travis is not getting as much media as Ken. How are they gonna solve that? That’s easy, by copying one of Ken’s most popular promo films featuring Monster chicks. They’ve made a spoof of that ad to unveil Pastrana’s new X Games rally livery. You can tell it’s not going to be as successful as Ken’s film though, because of the girls!

This little Ford Fiesta could never even imagine this much power at its disposal! But for the sake of a brilliant show at this year’s X Games Ford has prepared this monster rally car with 700hp. The car has also Tanner Foust at the wheel, American drift champion, X-Games specialist and Supercar Exposed presenter. So this should be good…

In fact three racing Ford Fiestas will compete there, the other two will be driven by Kenny Brack and Brian Deegan, an Indy champion and another X Games guru. This year is the 15th anniversary of the X Games, and by imagine it should be the best ever, if Tanner keeps the car in check!
