Volkswagen announced a massive recall in America involving 380,000 Jetta, Jetta SportWagen, Golf, Rabbit and New Beetle models built from 2006 to 2010 over fire risk. And it’s all becasue of a faulty 2.5 liter engine that powers them all! Some model have an issue with a plastic bit on the windshield washer fluid reservoir that may chafe against an underhood fuel supply line, while the Beetles have a improperly positioned fastening clamp on a hydraulic hose that causes the same problem.
This issue might result in fuel leak and, eventually, bursting into flames.
