Hyundai i30 at Hyundai Australia Celebrates 1 Millionth Sale

26 years after selling its first vehicle in the land down under, Hyundai celebrates its one millionth Australian sale. It took them almost 18 years to sell half a million cars. But ever since Hyundai revamped its lineup, design, and quality, sales took off and they sold another half a mil in just 8 years, with demand constantly rising for their new models.

Last year alone Hyundai delivered 87,008 units in Australia, nearly 30,000 units of which were the new Hyundai i30 hatchback. This car alone contributes greatly to the Korean brand’s success in that corner of the world, and its position as the 5th biggest car maker in the whole continent.

To celebrate this occasion, Hyundai Australia has come up with a series of new customer initiatives for August. To encourage more Australians to experience the wide range of new Hyundai vehicles available, one lucky test drive participant will win 1 Million Sky Miles. Three smaller prizes of 100,000 Sky Miles are also up for grabs.

Other incentives include a $1000 Myer Shopping Card for those who buy a new Hyundai before the end of August, and Hyundai iCare Capped Price Service and 3 Years Complimentary Map Updates for sat navs.
