More supercar goodness from Belgium, this time a thorough look at the new 2016 Audi R8 V10 Plus. The second generation R8 may not look particularly hot and interesting, but technically, it is a huge leap forward compared to the previous generation.

And no, we are not basing that judgement on how awesome the engine in the Audi R8 V10 Plus sounds!

Basically the same unit you get in the Lamborghini Huracan, the 5.2 FSI engine in the 2016 Audi R8 V10 Plus develops 449 kW (610 hp), allowing the car to do 0 to 100 km/h (62.1 mph) in just 3.2 seconds, its top speed is 330 km/h (205.1 mph). It comes with a 7-speed S tronic transmission and a newly developed quattro drive system that is adaptable and can transmit 100 percent of the torque the front or rear axle depending on the situation. The car weighs in at 1,454 kilograms which is 50 kg lighter than its predecessor and benefits from advanced features like standard LED headlights, Audi virtual cockpit, MMI navigation plus with MMI touch. With all this nice features and equipment, you can sort of justify the whopping 187,400 euros asking price of this car.
