Last year at the Dubai International Motor Show BMW unveiled a Middle East-only limited edition that sort of slipped under our radar, even though it was a pretty interesting car worthy of attention. It’s the BMW 7 Series Solitaire – proudly presented as the most expensive 7er ever built – and here we will examine it more closely.
Limited to just six units, BMW 7 Series Solitaire edition began as an idea at BMW’s Middle East office in Dubai. Those guys wanted a super special, exclusively equipped 7 Series bespoke to their region. And since Middle East is BMW’s third largest market, the top brass in Germany agreed to make it happen.
As you’d expect from a Limited Edition Bimmer, they have stuffed BMW 7 Series Solitaire full of Individual options. The super saloon comes with BMW Individual Tartufo Brown with white woven piping and floor trim panel and floormats made from lamb‘s wool. This model is based on the 750Li xDrive, so it was pretty luxurious to begin with.
What sets BMW 7 Series Solitaire apart from ordinary models is the piano black trim on the dashboard garnished with Arabic inspired Pearl inlays. And if that wasn’t enough, it also comes with five carats of diamonds in each car on the wood trim, dashboard, side panels and key.
