Dodge continues its weird, but quite amusing advertising campaign for the Dart with this new spot that shows us how they test the car for fun. They want to deliver the message that making sure the Dart is fun is a standard procedure, like road testing or crash tests. How they go about doing it though is rather interesting.

To test if the Dart is fun or not, Dodge uses the giggle factor. They put Travis Pastrana in the car and have him thrash the car, drift it around, push it to its limited, and basically treat the car like it deserves to die. If at the end of the test he’s happy, then the mission is accomplished.

Not sure if the Dart is as fun in the real world as in the world of advertisements, but it’s a fine little car.
