It was in the news that Jaguar decision makers ( I mean TATA motors!) are looking to expand sporty models and we got some imagination of what it would be, but AutoExpress revealed new renderings which are the reality.This is Jag’s XF coupe variant.

Based on the C-XF design, it remains loyal to original Ian Callum’s lines in many parts, although the back end is not turned out as brilliant! Nevermind, because its aggressive face with with those bonnet lines and LED lamps in bumper is much more appealing than all the boring competitors. Ofcourse the production version will be more like the current XF sedan, but its style already shows Jaguar is directly targeting Mercedes CLK, BMW 3 series and Audi A5 as main players in this segment.

You can expect some new crazy gadgets inside like those in XF saloon (pulsating lights, hidden gear knob … ) and four full size seats. It comes with an updated range of petrol and diesel engines, a 3.0-litre twin-turbodiesel and 5.0 litre V8, and ofcourse the supercharged V8 with 500 hp will follow shortly.

XF coupe will arrive when new generation Mercedes CLK is well established in the market so for a real verdict we have to wait untill these tow cars graduate and go head to head!
