Great, another successful web series is going primetime, which means it will stop being free for all to watch on the internet. A while ago it happened to DRIVE channel, now it’s Jay Leno’s Garage that signs a deal with a network.

Jay Leno’s Garage has already won the comedian and former host of the Tonight Show an Emmy award for its fantastic webisodes. It will follow the same theme on television, covering fascinating cars and motorcycles from every age and era.

“The show will be about anything that rolls, explodes and makes noise,” said Leno. “We hope to highlight the passion and the stories behind the men and women who made the automobile the greatest invention of the 20th century.”

The interest in bringing Jay Leno’s web car show to TV was boosted when his Ultimate Car Week Pebble Beach special episode was aired on CNBC and the netwrok received very positive feedback. It is of course great to see Jay back on TV. We just hope he doesn’t stop posting videos on YouTube. He has over a million people from around the world subscribed to his channel.
