This year at the Essen Motor Show there was a special exhibition – The “Le Mans” Stand – remembering the best racing cars of the last few decades.
The show starts with the 1954 Ferrari 250mm, once driven by the legendary Alberto Ascari. Once you walk along, you can recognise all the design changes throughout the years, and also some of the craziest ideas that were tested on the various vehicles, as for example the famous Jaguar XJR9 with closed rear arches.
Eventually you’ll end up near the 1993 Peugeot 905B Evo, which we find one of the best looking Le Mans cars ever. It was successful too, as it got the top 3 places in the 1993 24 Hours of Le Mans.
