German tuner MEC Design has been working on the Mercedes SLS AMG for a long time and has many different packages for it. But almost all of them have been featured so far on the coupe. This time they tailored a kit for the SLS Roadster, and it looks pretty damn good. Or maybe it’s just these fancy pictures!
The body kit MEC has put on the drop-top SLS consists of a GT3 style rear diffuser which is finished in a contrasting color, rear spoiler, new side skirts, and a front spoiler lip. They have also smoked the lights, which is a nice touch.
The choice of wheels for this car is not very good to be honest. Those five-spoke 21-inch rims would be more at home on a Camaro than a Mercedes Benz. The lowering job is proper, though.
MEC also installs a sportier steel exhaust than AMG’s system, and provides some upgrades for the interior, such as branded floor mats, more carbon trims, and a sport steering wheel with carbon and Alcantara.
