Once again, an angry Chinese customer destroys his own car in public to get back at the company with some proper negative press. This time the company is question is Maserati, and the victim car that gets the sledgehammer is a nice Quattroporte.
This customer was apparently mad at Maserati since 2011, when they charged for him for an issue that was fixed with a refurbished part. The man tries all the reasonable ways to fight for his right, but to no avail. So he waited for a major motoring event – the Qingdao International Auto Show – and gathered a large group of journalists to come and watch four thugs destroy the poor QP.
Now, although it seems like crapping in your own hands in order to through it at someone you hate, you kinda feel for the guy when you realize that the Quattroporte costs around $450,000 in China. For that kind of money, you would expect better service.
