Some Japanese dudes have come up with a new and utterly brilliant technique for drifting that is much more fascinating than massive powerslides with loads of tire smoke. We watched the video after the jump times and again to figure out how to do it. It must have something to do with steering angle and throttle load, probably. However the trick is performed, both of the end results are awesome!

Of course it wouldn’t work if your drift car hasn’t got a passenger seat… or a passenger of certain species.
