Flash Rods, a company specializing in making USB drives in the shape of model cars, has come up with a new ‘Midsize’ series. This time they went for a classic, hotrod look by featuring some of the most iconic muscle cars of the yesteryear in this collection.

So you get masterpieces the Shelby Cobra, the ’67 Mustang GT500, the classic ’57 Chevy Corvette, Camaro Z28, and 1951 Mercury Coupe. A modern Corvette ZR1, Mustang GT and a Camaro Police car are also available. In fact, they are built to order. So you can have them in pretty much any model you like.

The best thing about these drives is that they also work as model cars, mainly because they start out as one – Hot Wheels or other famous die cast brands. They have working wheels and doors, and the USB port doesn’t mess with the looks as it is hidden away.

These drives may look old, but inside, they are very modern featuring USB3 technology which is 6 times faster than the USB2. They are also PC and Mac compatible. Prices start at $110 for the 32GB model and $140 for the 64GB.
