As the order books open in the United Kingdom for the new Alfa Romeo Giulia the Italian car maker confirms the starting price for all five trim levels – the Giulia, Super, Tecnica, Speciale and the Quadrifoglio Verde. The cheapest Giulia you can buy £29,180 and the most expensive £59,000.
So for twice the money a basic Alfa Romeo Giulia costs you can get the QV version which with a 510hp, 600Nm Bi-Turbo V6 petrol engine, eight-speed paddle shift automatic transmission, and Alfa Chassis Domain Control (CDC) system is a veritable super car. But if those sexy looks are all you want, the basic 30 grand model will be perfectly satisfactory with its diesel engine.
As for the standard kit, each Alfa Giulia comes packing Forward Collision Warning (FCW) with Autonomous Emergency Brake (AEB) with pedestrian recognition, Integrated Brake System (IBS), and Lane Departure Warning (LDW), as well as dual-zone climate control, Alfa D.N.A. rotary driving mode selector, Alfa Connect display infotainment system with DAB plus MP3 and Bluetooth connectivity, 8-speaker audio system, rear parking sensors and cruise control.
Damien Dally, Country Manager at Alfa Romeo UK, commented; ‘The all-new Alfa Romeo Giulia is a true driver’s car, offering beautiful Italian styling and stunning performance, and so we’re delighted to see strong early interest in the car. Passion and practicality combine in the Alfa Romeo Giulia; there’s never been more temptation to own an Alfa Romeo’.
