Alfa Romeo will be introducing an all new model at the upcoming IAA Frankfurt Motor Show in september 2009. The Milano is the replacement for the current aging 147 which, judging on spyshots and renderings, won’t look like its predecessor at all! It looks like a bigger fatter slightly uglier MiTo.
Of course as we has always mentioned, Alfa Romeo has the most artistic approach to the car industry so you really can’t criticize it for the way it looks. It’s like criticizing a van Gogh painting! People realize you don’t know what you are talking about! Alfa Milano is about the same size as the 147, 4.3 meters long and will be powered by four diesel and four petrol engines ranging from 120 to 195 hp.
You can expect a hot GTA version some months after its debut at the IAA which almost certainly will get aV6 unit. But as for power, since the outgoing Alfa GTA with its 247 hp was a bit of a handful, they may come up soft on that but 200+ hp is for sure.
