TomTom is definitely bored with ordinary sat nav systems! After making a Top Gear sat nav, which is apparently ditched, they are now launching a new one with voices of Sesame Street’s Bert & Ernie.

This brings a bit of fun to an otherwise mundane task. It will especially amuse children during road trips. Developed in association with Sesame Workshop and Locutio Voice Technologies, voices of Bert & Ernie are now available for TomTom devices. They will give you navigation instructions as a normal sat nav would, but there will be a healthy does of fun banter in the process.

Now, it would be nice to have Elmo’s voice in the sat nav as well, but he’s kinda hard to understand!
