Playboy has chosen the 25 best cars of all time, and the winner was the Ferrari 250 GTO, one of the most charismatic models Ferrari ever built; only 39 have been produced between 1962 and 1964. The US magazine released quite a fine list of cars, a debatable one that’s for sure, but still a very cool compilation of vehicles for petrolheads.
The list is full of muscled cars, sports cars, and some pretty obvious choices, even the 1st Mazda Miata was included there.
Runner-up was the incomparable Porsche 911, followed by other icons of the mobile industry, such as the Shelby Cobra, the Jaguar E-Type, the Mercedes 300 SL Gullwing and the McLaren F1.
This list also includes the legendary Lamborghini Countach, the new Ferrari 458 Italia, the original Mazda Miata and… a VW Beetle!
