Nissan released a one-off version of the Juke Nismo crossover to celebrate launch of The Dark Knight Rises movie on Blu-Ray & DVD. This Batman-inspired version of the Japanese car will be sold via a website and in order to win the chance to buy it you have to enter a special competition.
Sounds as stupid as the car looks. Just imagine if Batman drove a Nissan in his films. No one would watch them anymore. But Nissan uses every opportunity they get to boast their products, even if it’s just launch of a DVD.
The Dark Knight Juke is of course based on the Nismo version, which comes with a 200PS 1.6-litre turbocharged engine, a six-speed manual gearbox, and front-wheel-drive, in addition to Nismo bodykit, uprated suspension and enhanced interior.
What sets it apart is all the Batman-inspired details, including a matte black paint job, a shark fin antenna, Bat badges on the front grille and tailgate, and red detailing on the 18-inch gloss black wheels. Inside the cabin you find more Bat logos on the kickplates and reflective Bat badges on the headrests of the suede-trimmed Nismo sports seats.
