If you are in the market for a fast German saloon, chances are you are going to get either a BMW M5 or a Mercedes E63 AMG. But those who may want to be different, and spend less money of course, may consider the Audi S6. For this group of discreet performance enthusiasts, MTM has come up with a power package.
The standard Audi S6 is no slouch, what with a 420 horsepower 4.0 TFSI V8 engine under the bonnet. But when MTM is done with it, that engine is good for 555 horsepower, and over 700 Nm of torque.
MTM has applied its magic to the car’s electronic systems with the use of M-Cantronic and V-Cantronic chips, which let you control the boost pressure of the turbochargers via the car’s MMI system. They also trick the top speed limiter, so in the full sport mode the S6 will be able to hit 290 km/h.
Complementing the performance, MTM hooks up the S6 with a set of Bimoto wheels, powerful brakes, and a stainless steel exhaust system with quad tailpipes.
