The first official pictures of the 2014 Bentley Continental Flying Spur leak onto the web ahead of tomorrow’s debut. And, well, changes are more substantial than we were anticipating. The Flying Spur is still a four-door Conti GT, but the new styling cues give it a unique character.
So apart from the new headlights and fancy mesh grille at the front, the Flying Spur gets some new side strakes, skirts, quarter panels, and a new rear-end design. It must be more aerodynamic too. For one thing, it now has a visible rear diffuser. The previous model also had that, but it was concealed under the bumper.
The new Spur looks chunkier and more muscular, and all in all more luxurious. The interior is identical to the GT and GTC models, with the same astonishing level of craftsmanship, peeled cows, and chopped trees.
Official details are yet to be released, but the 2014 Bentley Flying Spur will almost certainly get the same V8 and W12 engines as the Continental GT.
