Thanks to the controversial looks of the new Mercedes SL, the old R230 model is still rather popular, especially now that the prices are plummeting. MEC Design has come up with a styling package that gives the non-AMG SL350 model a somewhat cooler look.

Modifications on this car include adding a new set of 20-inch MEC Design mecxtreme3 3 piece wheels in Full Glossy Black with 245 section tires at the front and 285 at the back, a trunk spoiler, black grille, red brake calipers, Earthquake exhaust system, and a sport suspension that drops the SL by as much as 35 mm.

An interesting feature added by MEC is a roof module that allows you to drop the top even while driving. The standard car doesn’t have that.
