Thanks to the guys at Wheels Boutique and HRE Wheels, a first-generation Porsche Boxster gets some new shoes to help it feel good about itself. This particular model has always been the underdog in Porsche’s range. It was a bloody good sports car, but people mocked it for being the poor guy’s Porsche 911.
Actually, that was true. The only reason you’d buy a Boxster back then was because you can’t afford a 911. But the old Boxi paved the road for today’s 981 series which, to all intents and purposes, is the best sports car in the market today. It is good to see the old girl back.
As for the wheels, they are HRE C103 models, measuring 19×9 in the front and 19×10.5 in the rear, finished in Sating gold.
