This year a couple of iconic cars are celebrating their 50th anniversary including Ford Mustang, Porsche 911, and the Mercedes-Benz SL. Here’s a 1969 Mercedes 280 SL Pagoda W113, beautifully restored by Mercedes-Benz Classic Center USA in Irvine, California.
This Pagoda features a dark olive paint job complemented by light ivory roof and wheel hubs. They’ve also used the same shade of ivory for the interior. It looks scrumptious. We would remove the top and use it as a convertible all the time, but hey, even with the roof it is a very handsome car. Mechanically, the 280 features a 2.8 liter in-line six-cylinder.
