The current generation Audi TT is on its last legs and will soon be replaced by a new model. It’s got a million different variants though, and until they all get replaced, you are going to have to put up with them. So ABT’s decision to release a new upgrade package for the TT-RS and RS Plus is actually very timely.
Both of these pocket rockets are of course powered by the firm’s 2.5 liter turbocharged five-cylinder engine. What ABT does is adjust the turbochargers to their liking, install a beefier intercooler, and tweak the software that runs the electronic control unit.
The result of of these mods in the TT-RS is a fantastic 470 horsepower and 630 nm of torque. That is an insane amount of power in a car of this size. Thanks to the four-wheel-drive system you can use it efficiently though, and go from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds. Top speed is limited to 285 km/h. ABT also offers a more modest 440 horsepower version of this kit.
Visually, you get the familiar ABT treatment, including front and rear spoilers, a set of 19 or 20-inch wheels, as well as sport exhausts, powerful brakes, and uprated suspension.
