Kia K900 600x282 at Kia K900 Confirmed for Los Angeles Debut

Kia Motors announced the official launch of the new K900 flagship sedan in America at the upcoming Los Angeles Auto Show. The car is already on sales in other markets under where it’s called either K9 or Quoris, and it is based on the Hyundai Equus, also known as the Centennial. It’s all a bit confusing.

Anyway, in America it’ll be called the Kia K900 and that’s what you need to know. Well, that, and the fact that it will be a rear-drive, driver-oriented sedan powered by V6 and V8 engines, almost certainly coming from Hyundai.

That is about all the information the Korean car maker is willing to share about the K900 for now. The car has a rather interesting design, and as is the case with Korean cars, it’ll be packed with every luxury amenity you can think of, and it’ll be priced very reasonably. So it’s something to look forward to in 2014.

We will have more details on the Kia K900 closer to the Los Angeles Motor Show, so stay tuned.
