In the sea of SUVs and crossovers at the 2015 New York International Auto Show, it was quite refreshing to see a new sports sedan, and a pretty reasonable one at that. We are talking about the 2016 Nissan Maxima and we call it reasonable because it offers great style and performance at a very good price.
With a starting price of $32,410 USD, the 2016 Nissan Maxima, which is called a “4-door sports car” by the company, comes with a 300bhp 3.5 liter V6 engine boasting an EPA estimated 30 miles per gallon fuel economy. You can’t really ask for more.
Except you can, in terms of features and equipment, where 2016 Nissan Maxima gets a decent amount of kit including standard NissanConnectSM with navigation, featuring an 8.0-inch touch-screen display, along with SiriusXM, a 7.0 inch digital instrument cluster, Predictive Forward Collision Warning (PFCW), Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC), Forward Emergency Braking (FEB), Rear Cross Traffic Alert (CTA) and Blind Spot Warning (BSW).
We are digging the new looks of the Maxima with its V-Motion front end, signature boomerang lights, kick-up C-pillars and unique floating roof. It’s just an interesting design with no pretension whatsoever. The same applies to the high-quality interior.
