RENNtech’s love affair with the Mercedes AMG GT has been a long and fruitful one, for both sides. Now, teamed up with ADV1 Wheels, they want to take the relationship to the next level by unveiling the RENNtech AMG GT Project Car at the 2015 SEMA Show.
The details of this one-of-a-kind upgrade package for the German sports car are yet to be released, but based on the tuner’s brief words about this preview, the new RENNtech AMG GT will get a full host of performance and visual upgrade.
The performance package for the RENNtech AMG GT include “ECU Upgrade, Coil-over Suspension, Downpipes with Sport Cats,” and a few more mods. The aero kit, meanwhile, consists of “Splitter, Diffuser with Exhaust Tips, Rocker Panels and Adjustable DTM-Style Wing.” Last but not least, the car gets a “a custom set of RENNtech 10 Super-Light 3-pc forged wheels, manufactured by ADV.1 Wheels.”
The project car appeals, as you can tell looking at its features, most of all to the track enthusiasts and those who like a bold and brash look. But the good news is, you can pick and choose which one of RENNtech’s R-Performance Line upgrades you want for your car.
