The new 2016 Alfa Romeo 4C and 4C Spider are now arriving at U.S. and Canadian dealerships, boasting new options and personalization possibilities, most of which designed to make the 4C more usable. Rest assured, they will increase the cost of the sports car. But they also make it more irresistible.

The biggest highlights of the 2016 Alfa Romeo 4C on the outside concerns the Spider version and its new carbon fiber halo, underscoring the carbon-fiber monocoque chassis and windshield frame. Both models also get a new Carbon Fiber Trim Package with new elements on the instrument panel and shift bezels, instrument cluster surround and vent surrounds.

Some of the new options may sound ridiculous, but they make the 4C more livable and one wonders why they didn’t think of them from the beginning. We’re talking about stuff like the new lockable console and leather storage or the premium speakers. Alfa is also offering a top-notch leather upholstery with Tobacco and Black sport seats paired with a Black leather interior with Tobacco accent stitching.

Mechanically, the 2016 Alfa Romeo 4C and 4C Spider remain the same as before with a 1,750cc, 240 horsepower engine. But later in the year you will be able to order an Akrapovic dual-mode electronically controlled exhaust system which works wonders with the sound and adds a few more horses to the output.
