This is supposed to be a tuning job for Audi R8, but what PPI has come up with is a proper racing machine! In brief, they have shaved 250 kg of its weight and boosted the 4.2 liter V8 to 580 horsepower and 600 nm of torque. And it’s not just power, they’ve given it a racing bodykit as well. This is a full blooded GT car!

To gain this much power, PPI had to install two big superchargers, a new stainless steel exhaust system, a sport air filter and a new program for the ECU. So this lightweight R8 can accelerate from zero to 100 kph in 3.7 seconds and reach top speed of 332 kph.Another adjustments include a new suspension system with hydraulic arms which can adjust the height of the car and a high performance braking package with six pistons for every disc.

Razor GTR is faster and more powerful than the Audi’s own V10 powered R8, but it is 250 kilo lighter so there are compromises! Those light weight carbon fiber body parts which have been shaped with aerodynamic in mind are awfully expensive and they might look right on the track but anywhere else they won’t work. Also those bespoke 20 inch wheels are fantastic for handling, but they ruin the ride comfort.
