The next Viper not only gets a new brand name (SRT), it will also be sporting a new logo (Stryker).

True to the Viper’s name and tradition, this new logo is the head of a vicious snake. The name was chosen at the 2010 Viper Owners Invitational in Salt Lake City, Utah, and it’s a good one. Previous logos have been named “Sneaky Pete” and “Fangs,” and they all matched the car’s character perfectly.

The Stryker might look a it cartoonish at first glance, but it’s pretty cool in the initial sketches which you can see below. The logo has been designed by Chrysler designer Vince Galante. He wanted it to have the the sinister look and “evil grin” of the original. Job done.

Unveiling of the new logo also works as well as a teaser for the car. We sure can’t wait to catch the first glimpse of the new Viper.
