Alfa Romeo 4C Prototype Misfortune Caught On Video

A video has appeared on YouTube showing an Alfa Romeo 4C test prototype resting uncomfortably in a ditch by the side of a road somewhere in Italy. As you can clearly see in the footage, the weather is rather atrocious and the roads must have been slippery, contributing to the incident.

Unlike what it may seem at first, this accident is actually good news. First of all, it means the Alfa 4C is in its last stages of road testing and will be ready in time to launch in 2013. it also means that the 4C is a proper sportscar! It has a powerful turbocharged four-cylinder engine (performance numbers are TBD) and it’s a rear wheel drive car. The fact that the test driver has ditched it is a sign that it has playful and exciting handling.
